Do not let Desa’s small number of reviews fool you because she recently started working with WithLocals. She is a hidden gem of a guide. Having grown up in the old town in Dubrovnik and having been a student of history, she has personal knowledge of the area. This intimate knowledge allowed her to share some of the social aspects of growing up in the old town. Because of questions we asked, she was able to show some sites that we might not otherwise have seen. We were a group of six and all appreciated her guidance. Our whole group loved Deša! She gave us a good feel for Dubrovnik with her mix of ancient-to-modern-times facts and lore. We appreciated both her sense of humor and her depth of knowledge when telling us about the city and its people, and also when answering our questions.
