Cose positive: Posti visitavi molto belli, Assistenza pre partenza ottima. Cose negative: - [ ] Didi non era presente durante l’escursione ma un driver é venuto al suo posto, non una guida privata - [ ] Durante tutta la giornata abbiamo provato a contattare Didi ma non abbiamo ottenuto risposta - [ ] Alla prima fermata, il Batuan Village temple, ogni domanda che rivolgevamo al nostro accompagnatore non sapeva come rispondere, perché non originario di questa città. - [ ] Dopo aver pagato di più per avere un tour personalizzato, modificando due tappe, si è rivelato impossibile da eseguire completamente per mancanza di tempo. Quindi abbiamo dovuto rimodificarlo e tornare ad un piano simile a quello originale fermandoci in una tappa durante il percorso (monkey forest) per poter sfruttare il tempo a nostra disposizione, eliminando quelle richieste (Tengelalang waterfall e Go Gajah temple) - [ ] Nonostante abbiamo cercato di contattare Didi per poter avere l’ingresso al Monkey forest incluso, come da preventivo originale, non abbiamo mai ricevuto risposta e quindi abbiamo dovuto spendere 200.000 IDR di tasca nostra per l’ingresso al Monkey Forest - [ ] dopo aver ricevuto pressione durante la visita al rice terrace per paura di arrivare in ritardo allo spettacolo di danza conclusivo, siamo arrivati con mezz’ora di anticipo. - [ ] Per sfruttare al meglio quella mezz’ora guadagnata, nonostante abbiamo chiesto ripetutamente di fermarci per fare shopping durante il tragitto, il driver ci ha consigliato di andare in questo centro commerciale vicino al luogo dove si teneva lo spettacolo perché, a suo dire, avevano la stessa merce. Si è rivelato un luogo di scarsissima qualità da cui siamo usciti 5 minuti dopo. Nonostante lo abbiamo avvisato dell’accaduto ha continuato a bere il suo caffè e fumare la sigaretta dicendo che non c’era più tempo per andare altrove, finendo quindi per non poter più fare shopping e aspettare più di 15 minuti l’inizio dello showNot “Didi” on the picture or a local guide

Didi is a highly recommended guide. Everything went according to plan, and we also had the freedom to customize the trip. He gave us excellent recommendations that only a local would know. My fiancée and I had a great time, and we would recommend him to anyone. Luckily, I had my camera with me, and Didi even showed me how to operate it manually, as he’s also a professional photographer. Not only did he introduce me to Balinese culture, but he also taught me some photography skills 😁🫶🏽More than just a guide!

Didi messaged on the morning of the trip saying he’d hurt his foot and wouldn’t be able to take our trip for us. However I didn’t need to worry as his ‘experienced friend’ would look after us. I was fine with this and looked forward to the trip. Hi ‘experienced friend’ was lovely but cleared had no idea what was planned for our trip. He kept calling Didi to get more instructions and he also had no knowledge about the areas we went to. Other people at some of the stops had guides accompanying them, explaining local knowledge but we were dropped off in what felt like a glorified taxi ride. The trip itself included stops that felt pointless (a trip which we were told was to a silver factory but was actually a massive corporate silver shop and a ‘wood carving stop where we would do our own wood carving. This was actually just another stop where we were shown around a showroom and asked if we wanted to buy anything). On the way home I could see over the drivers shoulder him getting messages from Didi discussing a job tomorrow. At no point in the day did Didi check in to see how the trip was going. Something felt completely wrong with the whole trip and it defiantly didn’t feel like a trip with a local. I sent a message afterwards to let Didi know we were dissapoitned and why. He read my message but didn’t reply. Then got many messages from his friend begging me to leave a good review as he needed the work from Didi. I eventually called Didi out which got a response. He apologised and said he would offer me a partial refund (no amount specified) but he’d be in touch ‘in 3-4 days when he had received the money from Withlocals. That was 8 days ago and no word from Didi. I no longer want his refund and would rather leave an honest comment It’s put me off using Withlocals again sadly. It was far from the experience I was hoping for Incredibly dissaponting experience

Six of us took the Ubud Private Day Trip: Sightseeing, Art & Culture Tour with Didi on 29 Nov 2023. We had a terrific time with Didi and would wholeheartedly recommend him to others. He was prompt and was a master of local culture, religion and heritage. He was quick to assess our desires and move the tour in diffwrent directions to fulfill our wishes.Traveling with Didi

Didi’s tour was incredible! It was so easy to book and communicate with him and we were able to customise it to our liking! It was a full jam packed day of adventure and I would highly recommend this tour with Didi! Amazing Day Tour!!

We chose Didi, a local guide to show us round some of the sights beautiful Bali has to offer. Didi was great with communication and picked us up in an air conditioned mini bus, which was brilliant as it was a very hot day! We had limited time but Didi ensured we made the most of what we wanted to see. We visited the monkey forest, rice fields and a coffee plantation. Didi was very informative and also an excellent photographer!! Memories definitely made, thank you Didi. We would definitely recommend booking a tour with him. Amazing tour would recommend!
