Hello dear travellers visiting Croatia, welcome to Split! :)

Split is the city where I was raised and where I came back after finishing a master’s degree in History and the Portuguese language at the University of Zagreb. So yes, the city of Split that grew from an ancient Roman emperor's palace, to me it’s not a popular tourist destination, it’s my HOME. As a passionate traveller myself and a local tour guide, my mission here is to transfer a good vibe, excitement, as well as the passion and love I feel for my home onto you. Also, through using all the senses in discovering the city with me, I want to make you feel peace and calm. That kind of peace and calm that dear friends, the warmth of the sun, and sweetness in your belly can bring.

After teaching history in high school for a while, eight years ago I became a licensed full-time tour guide and tour leader. Since then, I have hosted different kinds of tours for guests from all over the world. I love to share my knowledge and experiences with the guests, but also love to listen, engage, and learn from them. Besides history, my great passion is music and I am always willing to discuss both of them over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.

Join me on this adventure, learn about the past, feel the present, and prepare to unexpectedly fall in love with Split, because the unexpected is usually what brings the unbelievable.

It was good that we started our Split visit with Dube- we learned so much about the history of the city and we got our bearings around town. We visited spots we would have missed and tried foods we were not as familiar with and it was all delicious. She gave us hints on where to go for the rest of our stay and places to eat for dinner. She even shared a recipe with me. I would recommend this tour to start your holiday. Fantastic food tour by a genuine local

Dube was a fantastic tour guide. We had a true locals taste of Split. The tour was personable and knowledgable giving us a true feel for the city. As first time visitors to Croatia we got an experience we would have never had on our own. Good food,good company and great history.Great Day in Split!

Great, great, great tour. Perfect mix of history and food. She brought us to many restaurants that were family owned and all the food was great. We would go anywhere with Dubravka again. A must do. An exceptional outing

Dubravka was an excellent guide! Very friendly and knowledgeable, and we had a lovely time! She took us to a variety of spots around Old Town and gave us a bunch of history along the way. We left super full and having learned a lot about Split!Excellent intro to Split

We had a great time on the food tour with Dubravka! She is very knowledgeable and loves to share her experiences around Split. Each stop had a great story or history behind it and we got to try many different types of Croatian cuisine! I highly recommend this tour, you won’t be disappointed! Great Food Tour!!

We had a great time in our tour with Dubravka she bought a lot of humour into the history of Split she suggested some restaurants to eat after the tour we choose a local one off the tourist area fantastic Split in the rain😁

Food tour with Dubravka was great!! Not only did we get to try Croatian local food, Wicho was delicious, but she also gave us a lot of information on the history and culture of the country. I highly recommend it!! Great food and cultural tour!!

Dubravka treated my family of three to a culinary excursion in Split. She was professional and knowledgeable about the food and history of both the dishes and the city.
