I booked a photography tour with Edgard as part of my husband's 65th birthday trip to Spain. Although neither of us loves having our picture taken, I wanted some shots to commemorate our special visit, and some photos that were not the same old "selfie shot" from my phone - those start to all look the same after a while! My goal, and hope, was to just get ONE picture that we both liked enough to frame in our home as a reminder of our amazing journey. Thanks to Edgard, we have many!
Edgard was incredibly responsive to texts, he suggested we move our shoot time to when the light would be better for photos, and adjusted our time on the day-of to work around a rainstorm that came through Madrid. He even went so far as to buy a clear umbrella so we could do cute in-the-rain shots if need be! Thankfully the clouds parted just as he predicted they would and we got some lovely pictures in the freshness of a damp city.
Edgard's wealth of knowledge is uncanny, I think he knows everything there is to know about the history of Madrid, so if you are a history buff, you've found your guy! But also if you're just looking for some great photos to document your visit, Edgard is the man. His shots are beautiful, artistic and they have a lovely candid feel. My husband was experiencing some knee pain on the day, and it kinda put a wrench in his ability to relax and enjoy the experience fully - but even through that (!) Edgard got some lovely photos, a truly miraculous feat.
Bravo, Edgard. I wish you were in every city so we could have such wonderful memories on all our trips. Thank you for your patience, flexibility and for the incredible images that will grace our home for many years to come. Muchas gracias!Photos & memories to last a lifetime!
Not only is Edgard extremely knowledgeable, but he’s a great storyteller. He knew many interesting details about the sites we visited while sharing details of the areas where the people live and work. We stopped for coffee and a tortilla where we learned about his career path that led him to become a professional photographer. We felt like we were with an old friend. This tour is vale la pena!Totally worth the time!
Edgard is like a big brother that will take care of everything you need while in the city and outside the city of excursions. I can't imagine a trip in Madrid without him. We practically spend the whole week with our family of 4. We went to Avila, Royal Palace, Prago museum, The El Buen Park, Toledo, Grand Via, La Latina cultural food tour and many more places. He has a van and takes care of everything you need. Best Guide Around for Spain.
The broad knowledge of Edgar and his friendly way of showing us Madrid made the tour an excellent experience. Great tour through Madrid

Sydney AustraliaAn introduction to Madrid with Edgard
Edgard was simply amazing. He was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and fun to work with! We will definitely recommend him to all of our friends and use him again if if or when we come back to Madrid!Perfect Experience
We so appreciated Edgards knowledge and the joy he feels to share it freely. His English is perfect.
I got a little lost after dark but when I got to one of the tour stops I knew where I was and was able to find my way home! Thank you Appreciation
Edgard was a brilliant guide to Madrid for my daughter and myself on our first visit to the city. He had tailored the 4 hour tour to match our wish list and over-ran as he was so generous with his time and fulsome in imparting his knowledge. This was not dry history though - he infused everything with energy and explanations that brought the sights and monuments to vivid life. He was patient in answering all our questions and engaging throughout. It was like being taken round by a longstanding friend rather than someone we had only just met. An expert introduction to Madrid
Edgard was excellent! He was very knowledgeable and informative. We learned a lot about the history of Madrid and Spain during our tour. In addition, he gave us great advice on other attractions and things to see while in Madrid. Edgard is very personable, has a great sense of humour and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone visiting Madrid. In summary, a great private tour with Edgard.Great private tour!!
