What a great time we had eating our way around Lecce! Eleonora is very knowledgeable about the city and its past and knows all the best places to try its food! Come hungry as the portions are not small. It was a wonderful way to get to know the city and try things we wouldn’t have done otherwise. Definitely give it a go, you won’t be disappointed! Great way to explore the city

We had a great tour with Eleonora on a very hot day. We loved how she connected the food to the history of the town and its surroundings, that made it very special as we left with so much knowledge (and full bellies)! Eleonora provides a unique experience tailored to the individual. Her passion and historical perspective provides a detailed overview of Lecce. I particularly enjoyed the walking portion that highlighted unique insights into the churches, restaurant scene, artisans, neighborhoods, and local stores. Her knowledge and familiarity of Lecce is comprehensive and personal. She was able to provide answers to all my individual questions with patience and thoroughness. Eleonora was an outstanding guide for our three-hour gastronomical tour of Lecce. From the moment we met, she brought the city to life with her warmth, deep knowledge, and easygoing style. She led us through the best sites in the historic centre, providing information on Lecce’s history, culture, food, and architecture. Unfortunately we chose a very hot afternoon for our city tour of Lecce with Eleanor’s, but this did not dampen her enthusiasm and her wealth of knowledge. She was very sympathetic to our needs and showed us the most iconic sites, explaining the history with humour and detail. We particularly enjoyed her rendition of a folk song in the paper mache model maker’s shop! Thank you, Eleonora! History in abundance!
