Eleonora gave us the perfect mix of history, local customs, and excellent food! We walked and talked for 3 hours and got a good feel for Lecce and all the people and cultures that have lived here for thousands of years. Eleonora is a delight to be with. We enjoyed a tour with Eleonora in early April. She gave us great information on the history of Lecce and the surrounding area. She explained local customs and foods. We enjoyed a lovely olive oil tasting in a local shop and learned much about the differences in olive oil. Overall it was a wonderful experience with Eleonora. We had a wonderful experience exploring Lecce with Eleonora as our guide! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared so many interesting stories that really brought the city to life. One of the highlights of the tour was the olive oil tasting — it was both fun and delicious, and we learned a lot about the local production. Eleonora is friendly and knowledgeable. We had a fun time learning about the history of Lecce while nibbling our way through the old town. One of us was lactose-intolerant, but she was able to accommodate us without any issue. It was a relaxing way to spend a morning in the old town.Food and history

Spent a delightful 3 hours in Lecce with Eleanora learning more about this historic, charming town and tasting our way through the local cuisine. Eleanora's passion for her city and depth of knowledge were well in evidence and here food selections - both the locations and tasting - were terrific. Eleonora contacted me to ask if we wanted to start the tour early, which was fine with us. We had booked a food tour with her, but she also explained about the history of Lecce, she was clearly very knowledgeable. The food was fantastic and we were all stuffed by the end. We went to lots of different spots to sample local food and she explained about the history of it too. Overall this was a great tour which I would recommend to anyone.Great tour
