Hi there, this is Eleonora, a Licensed Tour Guide and former globetrotter!

After spending 4 years abroad, 2 of them backpacking, I decided to come back to Rome, my hometown, to become a tour guide and here I am, working both in Rome and in the Vatican.

I am a very dynamic person, passionate about learning and meeting people from all around the world and I'm always excited about sharing with my fellow travelers my historical knowledge, but most importantly, showing them new places, a bit less crowded than what you usually experience on the most touristy roads, so that you can see my city through the eyes of a local.

I have been doing this job for several years now, so I've done pretty much everything (almost, cause you NEVER stop learning!) : bike, segways, walking, 15day trips with large groups of travelers, virtual experiences, food and wine tours and now I've been working focusing mainly on Art and Food, my biggest passions!

I have to be honest with you: the thing I like the most about art is all the incredible stories behind every single sculpture\painting\fresco that sometimes are so mind-blowing that are even more impressive than the artwork itself!

This will give you the chance to experience Rome as I do, with an historical passion and a reason for it. Also, it is nice to contribute to make you the smartest in the room LOL.

In Rome there is so much to know, to learn, to discover, that it is impossible to take all in just in one tour, so I will do my best to focus on the most relevant information and then, depending on what your interests are, I can add more relevant information\facts to the places we are visiting together.

So probably you understood already my goal: to give you a different kind of tour experience, informative and fun at the same time! I don't want to just offer a regurgitation of dates and names.

I would love you to leave Rome and Italy forgetting about all the cliches related to Italy and\or Italians and that you go back to your hometown with an ACTUAL knowledge of our local traditions, legends, food and wine.
