Hi there, this is Eleonora, a Licensed Tour Guide and former globetrotter!

After spending 4 years abroad, 2 of them backpacking, I decided to come back to Rome, my hometown, to become a tour guide and here I am, working both in Rome and in the Vatican.

I am a very dynamic person, passionate about learning and meeting people from all around the world and I'm always excited about sharing with my fellow travelers my historical knowledge, but most importantly, showing them new places, a bit less crowded than what you usually experience on the most touristy roads, so that you can see my city through the eyes of a local.

I have been doing this job for several years now, so I've done pretty much everything (almost, cause you NEVER stop learning!) : bike, segways, walking, 15day trips with large groups of travelers, virtual experiences, food and wine tours and now I've been working focusing mainly on Art and Food, my biggest passions!

I have to be honest with you: the thing I like the most about art is all the incredible stories behind every single sculpture\painting\fresco that sometimes are so mind-blowing that are even more impressive than the artwork itself!

This will give you the chance to experience Rome as I do, with an historical passion and a reason for it. Also, it is nice to contribute to make you the smartest in the room LOL.

In Rome there is so much to know, to learn, to discover, that it is impossible to take all in just in one tour, so I will do my best to focus on the most relevant information and then, depending on what your interests are, I can add more relevant information\facts to the places we are visiting together.

So probably you understood already my goal: to give you a different kind of tour experience, informative and fun at the same time! I don't want to just offer a regurgitation of dates and names.

I would love you to leave Rome and Italy forgetting about all the cliches related to Italy and\or Italians and that you go back to your hometown with an ACTUAL knowledge of our local traditions, legends, food and wine.

My son and I enjoyed our private tour it was all we were looking for and more! Eleonora is an amazing, funny, and knowledgeable guide. We had a lot of schools touring around us so it was busy but she navigated around them well and was fantastic throughout the whole tour!Amazing Colosseum tour with Eleonors

What a great tour! Our guide Eleonora made us learn about some roman food specialties but also about the neighborhoods we visited and about Italian culture. we highly recommend this tour as one of the first activities to do in Rome. Great introduction to the city. Our guide Eleonora was very funny and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot but, also, she gave us some tips about how to get the best out of our holiday. It was nice not to be in a big group. Great value for money!Great introduction to the city

Did a tour with Eleonora today and she was amazing! Yes this was a food tour but we also learned about the history of Rome and the area we were touring while walking. We learned so many things about the different foods that the Romans love and how the foods were produced to make them more regional. We were warned to come hungry and we did however we still couldn’t finish all of the different foods we were offered. We couldn’t even eat dinner tonight because we were still full!!Amazing Food Tour!!

We met up with Eleonora on a cold and very rainy afternoon, feeling miserable and thinking we didn't really want to do this tour! Eleonora soon dispelled any negative feelings we had and we embarked upon a wonderful tour of some key tourists venues but also some little known "hidden gems". Eleonora was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and extremely good company. We enjoyed an espresso in a nice cafe surrounded by statuary and a spritz in an upbeat bar popular with the locals. we continued with the tour which included a visit to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. we almost forgot about the rain and cold.
