I work as a theatre teacher both in Italian and English in various public schools of Florence. Since 2008 I work as founder of the cultural association "Sconfinando" organizing workshops, walking tours, scavenger hunts, involving people of all ages from different neighborhoods and creating connections with students of foreign Universities. Every person can be a testimony, a special peace that composes the fresco of our City. Our projects intend to link different generations, memories and new visions regarding Florence which is not only Renaissance or what we expect from her but is a living complex fascinating mystery to explore.

I like that Elisabetta was able to tell the stories of Florentines from medieval times to contemporary history. She knew a lot about culture, food and neighborhood hidden gems. I have been to Florence countless times and Elisabetta was able to show me new things. I highly recommend!Better than most tours of Florence

We cannot begin to express what a great tour we had with Elisabetta and Jeff. From the start she was warm and friendly. It is always a plus when travelling with children to start with the sweets which is exactly what we did with a super tasty bakery, followed by a Pastry Shop. We had heard about the Florence speciality lampredotto (tripe) and weren't sure if we’d like it, we told the kids it was meat and we all LOVED IT! During the tour, we heard about the history of Florence whilst we wandered from tasting to tasting and of course there was a stop for wine. No visit would be complete without gelato, which was a perfect way to end our tour. Passing palaces, markets and wine holes, we sampled some of the best street food and delights that this wonderful historic city has to offer. I wish we had more time with Elisabetta, she was great company!!! We will definitely reach out to her again next time we are in Florence!!! Guts, sweets and wine

This wasn’t our first time in Florence but we learned so much from Elisabetta. I highly recommend a tour. She was personable, knowledgeable and very sweet. We very much enjoyed our time with her. Elisabetta was great!

Elisabetta did a great job as our guide. We got the food tour, but being a lifetime local allowed her to share tidbits of information about the culture and history of Florence. Highly recommend!Excellent tour and guide!

Elisabetta was a great tour guide. Full of so much knowledge about the history and architecture of Florence. Loved hearing about the buildings and how the city was built over the years based on what was happening in the country. She took us to some unique food tastings - the pastries were okay but everything else was delicious and interesting. She accommodated a dietary restriction which we very much appreciated. Highly recommend!Loved it!
