We arranged a 3-hour food tour with Elisa in Lisbon at the end of January and it was well worth it! As well as helping us get our barings it was also a lovely opportunity to sample local cuisine. Elisa started the tour by taking us to a place where the locals go where we sampled salted cod croquettes and sardines washed down by a glass of vinho verde. Yum! We then went to try a pork roll - not sure of the Portuguese name but it was delicious. Another fish and chick pea dish and also a stop at a small bar which served Ginjinha. Not forgetting our final stop to sample a pastel de nata. I could've eaten 10 of them! Elisa was really knowledgable and friendly and we had a lot of fun as we walked to each destination. Thanks so much, Elisa. We highly recommend. A fab food tour!

We recently enjoyed a food tour with Elisa. The tour itself was delightful, with a wonderful selection of restaurants that introduced us to some fantastic local cuisine. Elisa was knowledgeable and we enjoyed dining like locals. Thank you, Elisa, for a nice day tasting the local flavors!Wonderful Intro to Portuguese Cuisine!

Elisa was an excellent guide and the tastings were delicious. The best - the bifana and ofc the pastel de nata. Also yum a salted cod and chickpea salad. Do NOT eat a big meal before this tour. Excellent food tour with Elisa

Elisa is een fijn persoon om mee op pad te zijn en ze kon ons ook het een en ander over de stad vertellen. Helaas was ze door verkeershinder 45 minuten te laat waardoor we lang hebben staan wachten. Ik vond het eten/ de tour absoluut geen 230€ waard, ik zal het daardoor ook niet aanraden. Na 2,5 uur was het klaar en zijn we op eigen houtje koffie gaan drinken en hebben we later op de avond nog maar wat gegeten. Vond het niet 230€ waard

We had a great time with Elisa. She took us to several different places where we enjoyed various Portuguese favorites. She sat with us and engaged in good conversation at each stop. Unfortunately we didn’t have the time we wished for, to no fault of Elisa. She packed in as much as possible before we had to get back on our ship. We were completely stuffed with delicious food! Outstanding!

This is the first time I’ve ever booked a tour guided by a local, and I was so impressed! I was traveling with my nephew (his first time outside the US), so I was unsure he’d enjoy or appreciate a guided tour, so I was surprised to learn he loved it as much as I did. Elisa was so knowledgable about local history & culture, and introduced us to several delicious foods. If you’ve never thought you’d enjoy sardines, you must try Portuguese grilled sardines. (My nephew enjoyed getting the chance to filet it himself). While I can’t recall the name of the restaurant, Elisa will ensure you get the very best. On our walks between destinations we learned about some of the local architecture, neighborhoods, and artists. Ask about Lisbon’s Banksy and the student of Eiffel who designed a local attraction. We finished our tour with some Ginjinha, and a stop for the city’s best Pasteis de Nata. If you’re looking for a food tour with a knowledgable, delightful and charming guide, book with Elisa right away. You’ll be glad you did.
