I'm a local tourist guide in Singapore and also an international tour manager and have been doing this for more than 25 years. This is happy work for me 😊

Besides work, my favourite thing to do is to look for new good eats 😋 And burning it off with a game of tennis with my friends. I enjoy watching tennis too and follow the game quite closely. It's in my bucket list to watch all the Grand Slams. I've done one of the four, so 3 more to go.

As a tourist guide, I'm very easygoing and flexible, and always happy to share stories about this beautiful island I call home.

Eliza Enchants We met our ‘with locals’ tour guide at a local cafe just near the Marina Bay Sands hotel where we were staying. Upon meeting Eliza she abounded with enthusiasm about our next four hours together. Her demeanor was warm and inviting as if she was meeting old friends in for a holiday. She mapped out a route that included local historical sites, food hoker markets and museums. Her knowledge about her home country was astute as she answered all of our questions with the skill and precision of a rock climber scaling the face of a mountain. As we went all over the city to each site she was met with smiles and hospitality by each establishment, the sign of a great host well liked by her peers. She ushered us through Singapore’s underground transportation with ease, never skipping a beat and what an amazing system they have! At the end of our tour she was kind and gracious, having taken the time to walk us back to our hotel. She offered a hug upon our goodbyes and we gladly obliged for after just four hours with Eliza, she had enchanted us and we left feeling we would certainly see her again. We highly recommend booking her. You won’t be disappointed. PS bring a small hand towel, the humidity is a killer! Eliza Enchants

We had a fantastic tour with Eliza! She's such an experienced tour guide and knows a lot about Singapore's history and life. Eliza was very kind to customise the tour to our schedule and what we wanted to do and see, and most importantly - took us to many places where we could try different food. The whole family loved the tour, and our daughter has absolutely fallen in love with Singapore. Great experience, highly recommended. Thank you, Eliza.Fantastic tour guide!

Eliza was very helpful and definitely wanted to be accommodating. I would say the downside is either the area/the tour didn't really amount to all that much that needed a private guide. Does not feel like we got a "lot" for the money. She did have a couple of nice viewpoints.Pleasant and helpful

Eliza was absolutely delightful. She spoke perfect English, knows a lot about the history and culture of Singapore, and managed to hit all of the city highlights in this informative tour. She adapted our tour to make sure we experienced everything we wanted to. On top of that, she knows her tennis and is extremely well-traveled, so when we weren't talking about Singapore, we had lots of other things to chat about. Highly recommend!Charming guide with a wealth of knowledge

Eliza and I spent 4 hours together touring Singapore on foot & via MRT, and it was the BEST way to get to know the city. In addition to learning about Singapore’s history & architecture, we visited a local neighborhood where I learned about daily life. It was like traveling with a friend. I learned so much! Time well spent

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We saw so much of Singapore that we would not have known to go and see. Eliza is so lovely and easy going we felt like we had known her for years. The food and drinks were amazing too! A big hit with the teens and adults alike. Eliza shares so much of Singapores history and culture in such an accessible way that keeps everyone interested. Amazing value, thanks again Eliza! Fantastic tour, Eliza is a superb guide!

So happy we found Eliza on Withlocals! She was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us so much about Singapore. Spending the afternoon with her was like spending an afternoon with a close friend showing you their hometown. We saw so much from historic buildings, fancy hotels, Chinatown, the famous Long bar, a Taoist temple, to of course the delicious hawker centers. She treated us to some of the tastiest food we ate in Singapore and was so kind to us. We learned so much about the city and history of Singapore as well as what it’s like living as a local here. I highly recommend anyone in Singapore sign up for this tour with Eliza.Amazing tour!

Eliza recently gave a tour to two of my children, ages 7 and 12, and myself. She was so organized, informative and patient; I was truly impressed. We had a great time learning about the history of Singapore and some of the current societal structures as well as trying some delicious food. I would be happy to take another tour with Eliza again and again--and I have no doubt I would learn lots of new information each and every time!Simply the best!

This is must to start your holiday! We had an enjoyable and informative tour of the city. Our guide was prompt waiting in the meeting location for us and asked us what we had already seen and still wanted to see of the city. She centred the whole tour around our needs and wants and was happy to answer any questions we had. We finished our tour over 4.5 hours later, feeling happy that we had seen everything that we wanted, heard lots of fascinating history of the city and its people’s. Would thoroughly recommend this tour, particularly at the beginning of your stay to get a good feel and understanding for the city! Absolutely Amazing Walking Tour.
