Hi there! I’ve been calling Sapporo home since 2017, and for the past three years, I’ve been guiding visitors through the best this city has to offer. Born and raised in Spain, I’ve also lived in Italy, Canada, and Ireland before settling in Japan, giving me a global perspective and a deep appreciation for cultural diversity. With a Japanese family and plenty of local friends, I’ve gotten a real feel for both the highlights and hidden sides of Japanese culture.

I believe tours should never feel rushed. My goal is to let visitors set the pace while I offer plenty of options to suit their interests. Whether it’s exploring the local food scene—from the freshest fish markets to craft beer spots—or visiting Sapporo’s iconic sights, I aim to create a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

We had a great time with Emilio. He had prepared a number of options for our tour, especially given the mobility issues with one member of our group. We thoroughly enjoyed the three tastings at the fish market, soup curry restaurant and ice cream selections. We very much appreciated how attentive he was to our needs and safety. Emilio had checked for elevators and escalators for our physically challenged member, which was so thoughtful of him. I would absolutely recommend his tour! Great food.Great experience!

The tour with Emilio was just what I wanted. It was informative and interesting. We went to a number of interesting places and I enjoyed the company. I would definitely recommend this tour as it caters for what I wanted to see, plus included what the guide believed would be interesting.Just what I wanted.
