She was methodical and patient with 2 true beginners. We learned many useful phrases and how to conjugate verbs. Really enjoyed our 2 hours at Bar Monti! I can understand many conversations around me but still am somewhat shy to speak. Just need to practice more.Emma is magnificent!

Right from the beginning, Emma introduced us to the charm of the locals in Pisa. We tasted different wines, cheeses, drinks and other foods along the way while learning the history of Pisa. We travelled off the beaten path and were able to see the true beauty of this Tuscany city. A taste of Pisa

We had a wonderful time in Italy, but without a doubt, one of the highlights of our trip was the tour with Emma. Her food tour was not only steeped with Italian history and lessons in the language, but also on the local culture. Emma went above + beyond to personalize the experience based on our interests and preferences. It was a thoughtful tour through the citys culinary “landscape”, with a perfect balance of sweet + savory, w/ wine tasting, and visits to hidden gems we never would have found on our own. Yay! Emma herself was a delight— she was outgoing, friendly, and effortlessly funny. She exudes a charm that is distinctly Italian, blending warmth + wit in a way that made us feel immediately at ease. Her humor was infectious, and her passion for sharing the local food and culture left us wanting more. It wasn’t just a tour; it felt like we were exploring with a friend; really!What A Time!

We really enjoyed our tour with Emma. It was a "down to earth" and authentic walk through parts of Pisa with snacks different places. We can only recommend this way of seeing parts of the city we would otherwise not have seen.A nice way to see Pisa

Wir hatten einen tollen Nachmittag mit Emma verbracht. Die kulinarische und historische Tour in Pisa war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis. Emma führte uns zu vielen Stationen mit besonderen Leckereien und tollen Getränken und zwischendurch haben wir auch sehr viel interessantes über die Architektur und Geschichte der Stadt erfahren. Our dinner with warm and charming Emma and her family at their apartment was one of the highlights of our trip to Rome. She's a wonderful cook and treated us to a wide variety of local specialities, all of which were sumptuous! Just as wonderful was the opportunity to get to know her and her husband, both of whom spoke excellent English. In short, the conversation was as memorable as the food. We left feeling as if we had made good, new friends and truly hope we will meet again someday. Grazie mille, Emma! A delicious, heartwarming experience!

This was an incredible experience for us to have Christmas dinner with a family in Rome. Emma and her family were wonderful and welcoming hosts, and provided an exceptional meal that was authentic and delicious. Emma was so generous and passionate about the food that we learned so much about Italian cooking and Christmas traditions throughout our visit.
