We had a lovely tour with Emre! Not only does he know A LOT about Istanbul, he also is passionate about sharing his knowledge and we learned so much while having fun and enjoying this beautiful city! I would highly recommend anyone, who wants to hear interesting facts and stories about i.e Hagia Sophia or the Blue Mosque to book Emre as their guide. Additionally he is very helpful if you are looking for local tips as where to eat or how to get to the airport. And Emre is great with young people too! My 15 year old son enjoyed our 3 hour very much and it helped us to connect with lively and beautiful Istanbul. Lovely experience!!

We had a great time visiting the old sites of Istanbul with Emre. He was so knowledgable it was crazy. Any question we had, he had the answer for. And he's a super food lover and we went to a grill spot for lunch that was so good. And the kind of spot a tourist would have some difficulty due to not knowing what to order, but Emre handled it all and we had a feast!Fantastic private tour!

We have had a fantastic food tour with Emre. It was well planned and informative, showing us different areas of Istanbul and a variety of food all of which we intend to revisit. Would highly recommend this trip. Definitely worth it if you are visiting Istanbul. Excellent Food Tour

Emre is so much more than a food tour guide. He is passionate about his country, culture, and cuisine. The food selections were 10/10. We were so happy and soooo full. Emre just oozed information about what we were seeing and experiencing as we walked through Istanbul neighborhoods. Literally EVERYONE knew him. We couldn't turn a corner without someone acknowledging him. We talked about everything from food to architecture to history to politics. Best tour we have ever taken. Emere is very knowledgeable and was very pleasant throughout the two days he was with us. He took us to the places that we wanted to go to, and also to off the beaten path streets and places to visit and eat. I highly recommend him. Emere is excellent

Excellent tasting tour through parts of Cihangir, Taksim, Istiklal, Beyoğlu, and Karaköy. Varied selection of sweet and savory dishes, but all delicious. Emre is an excellent guide--very knowledgeable, easy to converse with, and able to make adjustments on the fly if needed. Highly recommended! The 10 Tastings of Istanbul with Emre

Emre was a super fantastic guide. He showed us all of the highlights of Istanbul and allowed us to go at our own pace. His knowledge was incredible, and he was able to speak, in-depth, on so many topics. There was never a dull moment, and, of course, his English was perfect. We will choose Emre, to show us around, every time we come to Istanbul. Choose Emre!

It was our first visit to Istanbul (6 friends) and Emre was the perfect guide to show us around this beautiful and vibrant city. He introduced us to some truly delicious Turkish cuisine, at times taking us off the beaten track to local cafes that we’d never have found on our own. Emre also shared his in-depth knowledge of Turkish history, culture and modern-day life with great passion and humour. We had a fantastic experience and can highly recommend him for any tour of Istanbul, or indeed of Turkey. We’ll certainly book Emre next time we’re back! A superb food tour and more!

When you have a 9 hour layover in Istanbul what do you do? You go on a tour with a local! Since my layover didn’t fit into the airport’s scheduled tours I booked my own private tour with Emre and it was worth it! No tour truly begins without Turkish coffee. As I arrived after my very long taxi ride, I found a lovely coffee shop that Emre joined me at. We both enjoyed some of the finest Ottoman coffee, and with a cortado, I was jolted awake and ready to explore. Having someone who knew Istanbul very well, Emre was able to quickly adapt the tour to fit my interests and schedule. We got to see the iconic sites like Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern and the Blue Mosque but I also got to try Turkish food I hadn’t had before like durum and simit. Just by pointing out cuisine that was interesting to me, Emre immediately knew were to go. And boy did he know the right places! I can still taste how good the food was! Next time, I’ll be taking a food tour with Emre!It's amazing what you can do in 3hrs!
