We booked an Istanbul food tour with Emre and it exceeded every expectation. He guided us to local lokantas, old patisseries, and street-food shops we’d never discover on our own. Emre was a font of knowledge about the local cuisine and customs. He seemed to know everyone in the district and was a warm, outgoing guide. Thoroughly enjoyed our 3.5hr food tasting tour with him and would whole-heartedly recommend this tour.Fabulous food tour in Instanbul

We met Emre in Beyoğlu and we had a wonderful 3 1/2 hour tour walking around the area, tasting dishes as we went and learning about the history and culture of the area. 10 different tastings which were delicious and plentiful and Emre keeping our group of 4 amused with his stories. With two days in Instanbul this is possibly one of the best ways to get a true sense of how people live and eat. Emre guided us around the streets, sounds and history of this vibrant city. We visited local cafes, street vendors which we know we would have never done or known about on our own Emre was very generous with his time and his passion for his home city was evident. Wir haben bei Emre eine Stadtführung in Istanbul gebucht und waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Bereits im Vorfeld war der Kontakt zu ihm sehr nett und zuverlässig und all unsere Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt. Emre überzeugte uns mit seiner freundlichen Art und seinem großen Wissen über Istanbul. Er fuhr unter anderem mit uns mit der zweitältesten Straßenbahn der Welt, ging mit uns über den großen Basar und zeigte uns das ein oder andere kulinarische Highlight. Hi - We experienced a wonderful evening with Emre in Türkiye (04/08/25) This gentleman was so knowledgeable & proud about his city and country, that we were entertained as we walked through parts of Istanbul we hadn't experienced yet. The places we went to were quaint and popular with the locals, something we wanted to experience. We spent well over 2+ hours with Emre who talked to us through every aspect of this tour. (++ thumbs up) However, for what we paid for 3 people (only 2 attended) to 'taste' was disappointing.Türkiye At its Best

Wir waren zu viert mit unseren Kindern (10+14 Jahre) auf einer Tasting Tour mit Emre. Es war ein wunderbarer Spaziergang durch ein spannendes Viertel mit leckeren Kostproben der Istanbuler Küche. Emre war ein herzlicher und sehr sympathischer Guide und hatte tolle Geschichten und viele wertvolle Tipps für uns. Das nächste Mal würden wir gerne eine Tour in Kadiköy mit ihm unternehmen!
