We had an amazing tour of Brussels with Eric. He is super knowledgeable and a true history buff! He’s also a funny guy with a great personality. The best thing about a tour like this is the flexibility to see the things that are of the most interest. Eric did not disappoint, and we loved his passion for his city and country! Eric was fabulous. He managed the tour in a way that my mother (who doesn't walk well) was able to manage and enjoy the history of the main square and chocolate shops along the way. He was knowledgable, friendly, and gave us tips about places to go to drink and eat the best waffles. I highly recommend!A lovely chocolate and history toup

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of taking a walking tour of Brussels with a local guide named Eric, and it was truly a highlight of our trip. From the moment we met him, Eric's enthusiasm for his city was infectious. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights into the history and culture of Brussels at every turn. What made the tour even more enjoyable was Eric's wonderful sense of humour, which kept us engaged throughout the three hours we spent with him. Eric took us to a variety of very interesting sights, each one brought to life by his passion for architecture, which clearly shone through in his commentary. He had a knack for pointing out details we might have otherwise missed, making the city feel truly vibrant and layered. A particular treat was his recommendation of a local takeaway spot for some authentic Belgian Frenched (no, not 'French') fries - a delicious end to a wonderful walk! Beyond Brussels itself, Eric went above and beyond by offering us some excellent advice for our upcoming visit to Bruges the following day, which we really appreciated. I would say the price was good value and we would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Eric as a guide. Our day in Flanders with Eric was a wonderful way to end our Belgium holiday. Eric made certain that we were able to visit the sites that were most meaningful to us including a stop at the American Cemetery and a drive through the countryside ridges where my great uncle John fought and was wounded. Thankfully my uncle came home, but it was so important to us to pay tribute to all of the young men that did not. Eric's expertise of the events and places that defined WWI gave us a keen appreciation for the sacrifices and bravery of the soldiers that lived it. We enjoyed lunch in a local restaurant where Eric went out of his way to help us order the best local foods including fries, Belgium stew, and of course Belgium beer! We even swapped stories about our favorite leek soup recipes. The tour far exceeded our expectations. Thank you Eric for providing us with memories of our time in Flanders that we will long remember. The most excellent day-Thank you!!
