I was born and bred in Amsterdam, city of "tolerance", and am very much the product of that: direct, to the point and genuine. I love showing people around my city and telling them all the little anecdotes that belong to the old center.

Every street or section has its own story for me. I studied English, Art History and Philosophy at the University of Amsterdam and am dedicated to the lore and history of (North) Holland.

We enjoyed our tour with Estella. We scheduled the tour for when we first arrived in Amsterdam to get an overview of the city so that we could decide what we wanted to explore further on our own. Estella did a great job with that and we enjoyed hearing the history of the city as well as her personal stories and experiences. Great overview of Amsterdam

We had booked a 3 hour tour with Estella to visit Amsterdam, the tour lasted longer and she did not mind. She was extremely knowledgeable, witty and warm. We walked around many of the streets, canals and neighbourhoods of Amsterdam and she also showed us some of her favourite hidden gems. She treated us to some delicious chocolates towards the end of the tour, which we thought was so kind and thoughtful of her. We highly recommend a tour with Estella! Wonderful

Since I had never been to Amsterdam before, and only had a day and a half to explore the city, I decided it might be good to begin my visit with a guide to give me an overview—-and Estella did just that! We spent 3 hours walking around and by the end of it I had learned something about the economic, political and religious history of Amsterdam, and its physical layout, and was much better prepared to take advantage of the time I had the following day to explore by myself. Estella was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable of the history of Amsterdam and has a background in art as well. Estella was able to customize the tour to meet our needs within the given timeframe. We were able to maximize our tour while gaining Estella’s great local perspective. We had a lovely time touring Amsterdam with Estella! She is a walking textbook of information about Amsterdam and Holland. She is warm and friendly and easy to spend the afternoon with.
