My niece Ila and I were visiting Berlin. We both like photography, but wanted to get some expert advice about photographing Berlin. Ila found Fabian's offer on "With Locals," and right from the get-go he was helpful and knowledgeable. I contacted him to explain what we were looking for, and he asked all the right questions and showed a real desire to make sure our time with him met our expectations.
Well, our expectations were met and then some! Fabian is a friendly and forthcoming fellow who showed a real interest in us and what we were trying to learn. I was especially impressed with how kind he was and with how thoughtful he was with regard to Ila and what she was hoping to achieve. He gave excellent compositional and technical advice, and he extremely patient and keen on helping us take our skills to the next level. We were amazed with how much learnt in a short period of time, and for the rest of the trip, when taking pictures, we found ourselves asking "how would Fabian approach this shot?"

Booked the tour for my Husband and Fabian was so kind. The tour was great and very inspiring. Fabian suggested a different location because my Husband loves street fotography. That personal approach is what made the tour so worth it. Book this tour!!!Fantastic

My photo tour with Fabian was beyond what I had hoped for. It was a wonderful two hours that seemed like ten minutes. Fabian is very knowledgeable about the city and was willing to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with me. I asked him to take me to some "non-touristy" places, and he really came through. I would not have found these places without him. Above all else, Fabian is a very talented photographer. He has a wonderful eye for composition, and he knows and understands the elements that make a great photograph. I was so fortunate to spend time with and learn from him. Fabien not only brings you to the spots, but also gives you tips for your composition. If you need more help regarding your gear settings he will also guide you. I know that my wife who is not a photographer enjoyed the advices Fabien gave her for taking pictures with her iPhone.
When I say more than a photo tour it's because Fabien who is a 3rd generation Berliner, talks about the city, the history and giving you additional tips.I's more than a photo tour! 5/5 stars

A really enjoyable photo tour, Fabian is not only a very talented photographer, he also shows a real interest in teaching, adapting to both a non-photographer, like me with my iphone and to a more experience photo amateur.
He is a true Berliner and takes you to unusual places, beyond the classic landmarks.

I booked a couple of hours with Fabian during sunset. I got some great photos in places I would have never seen otherwise. Fabian knows exactly where to get some great shots and he is very professional, patient and kind. I learned new ways with my camera. I can highly recommend Fabian for both experienced and beginners in photography.

I'm so glad I booked a few hours with Fabian in Berlin. I got some great photos in places I would have never seen otherwise. The weather was terrible and he still managed to help me find some magic. I learned new ways with my camera also. He is also a gentleman and he was fun and pleasant. I will definitely go back to Fabian in the future. Really enjoyable.
