Hi, I've been working as a tour leader for three years. I moved to Venice once finished high school to study Eastern languages at the Cà Foscari University, and my specialization is in Japanese language and culture.

I am deeply fascinated and fell in love with Japan and its traditions, and I consider it my second homeland.

Somehow, Venice's nostalgic soul reminds me of the magic, beautiful fluctuating landscapes of the Land of the Rising Sun.

Venice is like a bubble, a stand-alone reality, a separate world where you feel like living in a different era.

In Venice, everything gets slower. You can catch people's eyes, and you can always feel at home.

That is something that makes you feel safe, protected, and cuddled, and, despite its small size, Venice has thousands of sides to be discovered and several labyrinths where to get lost.

Discovering Venice with me means looking her through an experienced local's eyes, fell in love with this city.

I love working in direct contact with people, and I've always worked with foreign tourists, doing different jobs. I finally found on this job my satisfaction and the expression of myself and my knowledge.

I love the outdoors, walking, and sharing my experience with my guests.

I think that meeting different people with different cultures and backgrounds has an inestimable value.

Fede took exceptional care of my mother and Aunt as she took them on an exploration of three different islands, each one with their own enchanting flavor. She customized the experience perfectly to suit their interest in glass blowing and everyone was delighted with the day. She's an exceptional guide!Phenomenal day of exploration with Fede

Federico was very friendly and very informative. I learned a lot about the history of Venice. I saw a different side with not the shopping and tourists. She was so friendly and took great care of me in the heat. I couldn’t have asked for more!This tour was wirth every penny

Federica came prepared. We love how she brought a tablet with her to show us useful information. All the while, having bites and drinks that were not too touristy. She showed us her favorite cicchetti and they were delicious and introduced us to select spritz, a very Venetian experience. It's a perfect escape from the crowds of Piazza San Marco. Highly recommend getting an aperitivo with her, very kind, nice and friendly! A very true local experience

Frederica was very accommodating of our large party ranging from 15 months to 75 years of age. We had a wonderful time, exploring Venice, enjoying good food and wine, and appreciating the history that Frederica shared with us.Great for big families

We went to Murano and Burano with Federica. Had a great time talking with her, learning about some of the local food specialties, etc. We definitely saw and learned things we would have missed on our own. She even gave us dinner recommendations for later in the day - which worked out very nicely. A lovely person to show you around... and she knows. Would recommend booking a tour with her. Great day!

I am super late to write this review (oops!) but I'm coming back 5+ months later because that's how impressive Federica is! We had the loveliest experience on our food tour - she answered all our questions and made us feel right at home in Venice. Then, when we happened to run into her the next day, she helped us organize our itinerary and gave so many wonderful suggestions. She truly goes above and beyond to make your time in Venice wonderful. Such a GEM!

Had a great time with Federica! We got to see a whole new side to Italy, learning history & tasting foods that are very unique to Venice. Wouldn't have had nearly as rich of an experience without her. What a wonderful way to spend the day in Venice!Off the Beaten Path New & Unique Flavors

After a midweek of intensely exploring the city's various quarters by ourselves we met up with Federica to let her show us her view of this marvelous city (well to be honest, eventualy met up, we wrote down the meeting time wrong and arrived late, wich is rude when meeting friends but unforgiveable when meeting a new friend, again, so so sorry!) Without batting an eye she took us in and we proceeded on our endeavour talking about anything that came to mind and pointing out dozens of little bits you would completely miss as we walked by to various gems around a couple of districts. What impressed us most is Federica's ability to alter and adapt, for example when she found out through our convo's we had allready been to several neighbourhoods she had in mind she needed about 8 seconds to come up with an experience we would not have had without her. On top of that we like easy going people that can relate to anyone and she is a natural. Thank you very much for a delightfull afternoon, for providing us with so many pointers in what to eplore next during our stay and last but not least for the amazing flavours and aroma's! Federica gave us a wonderful tour of Venice. She was an excellent, funny and amiable tourist guide, gave us numerous insights into the Venetian soul and gave us so many great tips for great restaurants that we will definitely come back and try everything!
