Claudio

Born and raised in Rome, Italy, I studied anthropology and ethnomusicology and after being Tv-cameraman, sound technician, mechanic, music producer, oil platform washer, kinder-garden assistant, bicycle mechanic and seller, I became a guitar maker and discovered my real interests: music and tourism!

Now I spend my time enjoying these two passions trying to be the best at them in a professional way with a special attention to my local traditions. I became a tour leader in 2009 and professional musician in 2013. I speak Italian, English, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish and French.

We had not planned anything for our last day in Rome so I was looking for a short tour and came across this amazing wine tasting tour. I sent a message to Claudio, and he replied immediately, giving us a tailor made plan for a last minute tour that has been the highlight of our stay! Claudio accommodated our requests and did some last minute changes to the program because it was raining. Wow! Everything was excellent and Simone gave us a lot of information on the process of wine making as well as the wine we tasted at the vineyard. We also enjoyed a fantastic lunch with another wine tasting at a restaurant. Unforgettable!! Claudio is truly amazing, he is incredibly knowledgable, very friendly and will make sure you will have a fantastic experience. Worth every minute!!

We had a pleasant tour with claudio. He was a very nice man and had a lot of knowledge. However the tour did not exactly go as we expected. We had no special requests for the tour and we expected the guide to have a clear plan for us, but instead we felt we were wandering aimlessly around the city. The places we visited felt a bit random, even though they were nice. Also, the tour guide did not talk and explain as much as we wanted. All in all this was a mediocre experience. Maybe this tour is suitable for people who have a clearer plan for their tour.Nice but not what we expected

Great tour with Claudio, who adapted the tour to our time constraints. We did a good mix of famous locations and less known ones, which was perfect for our team, since some of us already knew Rome. It was also a good mix in terms of information about the city and pure biking. Sometimes, the guide is spending too much time talking about a place, while we want to see as many different places as possible. Claudio was our #1 of the 8 tour guides we had during our trip. We booked a wine and food tour but it became so much more. The wine and food was fantastic but the olive oil was unforgettable. Claudio ended up buying some as well. But the best part was the hidden archeological site he surprised us with. They were actively working the site. No entrance, fee or other tourists, just us and the university archeologists. Thank you Claudio. Much more than wine and food

Great walk and chat with Claudio. Brought us to taste many authentic delicacies.He pointed out and explained many of the historical elements found on our route. Would recommend this activity if you have a short layover and are looking for a fun activity. Wonderful overview of local flavors
