I am a former journalist with a degree in modern languages and passionate about history of art; I had the opportunity to be a guide during Milan Expo 2015 and I decided to follow my inner calling to be a guide and a tour leader! Francesca was lovely. It was great to see the canals. I must have misread because I expected there to be food. It was dinner time. Instead, there was potato chips, corn nuts, carrot sticks, etc. Francesca took me to a supermarket and I bought bread and cheese to eat in my room. Fun to see the canals; wish there was food

What a great food tour my family and I had last Thursday with Francesca! We can’t stop thinking about that carbonara! It was nice having someone show us around and give the history of the area while sampling the local food! We had the good fortune of doing a highlights tour of Milan with Francesca. She was a pleasure to work with before the tour. Promptly answered questions and was great about setting good expectations beforehand. She met us in the lobby of our hotel which was close to The Duomo. It made for a great start to our time together. We appreciated her knowledge and the fact that she took her time explaining info esp when there were questions or we wanted something clarified. She also shared some tidbits with us which prompted us to go back to certain stores and areas to do some more shopping and dining. Areas that we wouldn’t have ventured to on or own. All in all our 3 hours went quickly and we thought it was definitely money well spent! Excellent tour of Milan!

Our tour with Francesca was one of the best ever. Francesca understood our area of interest and presented the complex and interesting history of Milan and Italy so well….from its fascinating political evolution …. to its ever changing social dynamics…. and its rich cultural. She even brought us by an art supply store on the way to the art academy where my artist husband purchased tubes of beautiful oil colors from the top producer in the world. A real treat. Francesca is warm, highly intelligent and gracious. It was like walking and exploring with a good friend. Thank you, Francesca.🙏Loved Francesca

We had a lovely evening with Francesca with tastings while touring Milan. Our flight was very delayed and we couldn't make our original booking time. Francesca kindly rearranged her schedule so that we could still experience the tour during our 2 days in Milan. Had a great time!! Knowledgeable, accommodating

Francesca was a tremendous guide. We started our tour at the Duomo where Francesca breathed life into the intricacies of this historic and blessed structure. Afterwards we had an espresso at a newly restored Campari bar with beautiful mosaics. We proceeded to the Galleria with even more ancient works of art on the edifice and the floors. From there we walked past La Scala and into the fabulous Brera neighborhood. I can’t imagine that I would be able to describe how beautiful it was without writing a large travel book. Scuola and Libraries, beautiful Botanic Gardens and incredible wine bars and shops to name a few. We ended our tour at the Castle and before she left, she recommended the most incredible restaurant that only locals would patronize. Thank you Francesca. A tour through the best of Milan

Our tour with Francesca was great. She is very knowledgable about the history of Italy and Milan in particular. We enjoyed touring the historical sites but also walking through the streets, being educated about the architecture and culture. We had some interesting and fun conversations along the way.
