Hello everyone!

My name is Francisco, but my friends call me Chico, so, feel free to call me that!

I was born, raised and live in Lisbon, but I am a well travelled person, as I work for almost 30 years in the Tourism Industry.

I am a family man, father of 3 grown up boys, and my friends say I am a "Social Animal" as I easily make friends!

I love sports ( especially soccer and rugby), walking the streets of Lisbon ( I always discover new things. . . ) ;talking to people; trying a new wine or a different type of food

With a degree in Social & Cultural Anthropology, and with the experience as a Tour Guide, I have learned to look and feel our City and its people with tourist's eyes and heart.

I believe that Life is a wonderful gift and must be enjoyed every single day, and every moment, so my Tours reflect this philosophy. You can expect I will inform you about facts, but I will tell you the stories that made these facts interesting

Francisco is absolutely the right guide for you if you are looking for a really knowledgeable narrator of Lisbon's history - I got so much more out of seeing all the monuments and churches and attractions because of his encyclopedic knowledge of past and present. Truly an education and a total pleasure, and a wonderful person to boot. Best money spent on this trip, hands down. The Best Guide Ever!

We had the best tour with Fransisco this morning. He was marvelous to work with. He came to pick us up at our lodging, which was wonderful because we were kind of confused as to where we were. By the end of the tour we knew so much about this lovely city of Lisbon. We were so impressed with Fransisco’s knowledge, but mostly his kindness and friendliness and openness. Thank you so much Fransisco! We would recommend him to anyone looking for a really laid-back well paced tour.An amazing and informative tour.

From the first interaction with Francisco, we found a positive professional with significant experience in the tourism industry. Franciso loves Lisbon and wants to share the stories of this amazing city. He was great in responding to emails, was flexible with our tour departure time and was at the cruise terminal exit with a sign and a smile. This was the first time visiting Lisbon and Francisco’s tour was an excellent introduction to the city. Francisco was a terrific guide with a real passion for its history and culture, taking us to places of importance and where we wouldn’t have thought to go without his guidance. He was very friendly, amiable and spoke excellent English. The tour was for 3 hours but he actually gave us more of his time. He gave us recommendations for the rest of our week and places to eat - well worth it. Afterwards he also messaged us about the coming storm and palace closures. We would highly recommend Francisco as a guide.A Great Introduction to Lisbon

Wow what a day and an amazing city that Lisbon is. After spending time with Francisco, Lisbon has become my new favourite city. I have Francisco thank as to why that is. As a local who was calls Lisbon home he knows a lot about this cities rich history, culture, religion, art, politics, architecture, places to shop, eat, drink and most of all where to have a great coffee a custard tart and a chat. I can highly recommend Francisco,he is easy going, friendly and interested in why you are here in this beautiful city and what you would like to see and do. Francisco took my wife and I on a very interesting and comprehensive walking tour of Lisbon. His knowledge of the city and the history of both Lisbon and Portugal is excellent. We enjoyed his company and attention to detail.Appreciation

Francisco was most polite, patient, fluent in English and has a huge amount of knowledge about Lisbon which he was keen to share. We had a lovely coffee and pasteis de Nata en route, and a most interesting and enjoyable few hours Excellent tour of Lisbon

Francisco is a fantastic guide. He is very friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He can tell many stories. We were interested in history and Portugese discoverers and he told us alot, he can tell days abiut this. If you searvh for a guide in Lissanon, I would really recommend Francisco.fantastic guide
