To make MY Budapest YOUR Budapest is what motivates me, and I just can't get tired of it. Though I have an international background -- born in Romania, raised in California -- Hungarian is my mother tongue and I've lived more years in Budapest now than in any other city.

Coming from journalism, I started working for Withlocals.com as a tour captain, designing some of the original Budapest tours. That's when I realized how uplifting it is to be a tour host, plus it's also about communications. So here I am.

We, a couple from Germany, had a great city tour right after Christmas with Gabor! From Millenium Square, to Oktogon Station (with beautiful Jugendstil Eclectic architecture), to the Opera building... It was an interesting tour through the different decades of Budapest City. Big recommendation from our side! Great City Tour after Christmas

We loved our tour with Gabor. He was super easy to communicate with ahead of time and even re-arranged his schedule to fit us in on New Year's Eve! He's such a natural tour guide and you could clearly see that we weren't just on a tour that he had delivered a hundred times before, he was tweaking it "on-the-fly" to match our interests. He's got a wealth of knowledge and we would definitely book him again on a future trip to Budapest. Thank you so much, Gabor!A great tour with a great guide!
