Gennaro helped us fall in LOVE with Napoli! His love for his home, Napoli’s rich history and his love for food showed through out the entire tour! As a family of 5 adults touring through Naples for the first time, we highly recommend! We spend a great afternoon learning and eating (soooo much food) at local spots that we never would have found on our own! A million thanks to our favorite guide Gennaro! Chiao for now! 15/10

We had a fabulous time with Gennaro. His passion about culture and food is infectious and fun. He made everything for us easy and convenient. There is nothing mechanical or “canned” about this tour. The pasta was simply the best we have ever had. The time flew by. We finished the tour, totally full and with a lot more love of the city of Naples. Gennaro is one of the most engaging guides we’ve had in all our travels. His knowledge and passion for not only the food of Naples, but also its rich history and culture, really stood out. It’s clear he genuinely cares about delivering a memorable experience—and he absolutely did. I would happily book with him again for future tours in the region (or even in Turkey). If I had one suggestion, it would be for the food selections to go beyond the typical street fare found throughout Naples. We were on a cruise and Naples was our last stop. What fun we had on this experiential private excursion! Our previous days were ship shore excursions and our time with just three of us walking through Naples and making pizza with Gennaro was a nice change. We enjoyed learning how to make a good margherita pizza although we will likely never be able to replicate it. If you can choose Gennaro over what the cruise companies have to offer, I'd say you should do so! Oh, what fun!

Gennaro was very accommodating and met us early because we had finished our other tourist activities early. He picked us up from a location that worked for us and immediately made a great impression. Gennaro is funny, engaging and intelligent and knows all about both the history of Naples and pizza 😁 I'm not going to spoil the surprises by listing exactly what we did but it was a great afternoon of learning and sampling food. It was really hot and Gennaro kept us topped up with liquids from different bars and cafes. When we got to the pizza making part of the afternoon, both Gennaro and the staff at the cafe had a deep knowledge of exactly how it should be done. I learnt so much from the session and we made some really good authentic pizzas. My teenage daughters really enjoyed the afternoon as well, both being much better than me at the pizza making. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Italy!

Gennaro was the perfect guide - funny, knowledgeable, passionate and interesting. He captivated us with his passion for pizza and this was the basis of our small tour of Naples culminating in a pizza lesson in a professional kitchen. A truly unforgettable and irreplaceable experience. Gennaro made me and my family an unforgettable afternoon with lots of Pizza! We startet with a relaxed walk through a beautiful quarter of Naples we did not know before. Gennaro was so flexible to adapt the tour when we wanted to stop at a pizza place spontaneously. We went to a small pizzeria then and learned how to make authentic pizza from the owner and Gennaro who worked together as a great team. We loved it and will definitely come back there. Gennaro is a 100 % recommendation and definitely a great guide! Great and authentic experience!

I don’t think I can ever say enough how much we appreciate Gennaro for everything he taught our family. This is the second tour that we booked with him. His enthusiasm and love for Napoli is contagious. We can’t wait to come back to visit. All of us had so much fun learning about and making pizza from scratch with fresh ingredients. Not only did we learn what to do but we learned the why behind what we were doing. The importance of each step. The pizza we made with Gennaro is probably the best pizza we have ever eaten. My husband has been researching pizza ovens like Gennaro had so we can make pizza just like it at home. Spending time with Gennaro, his beautiful daughter, and Monica was very special. Grazie !
