Welcome to my favorite Swiss city- Basel - the cultural capital of Switzerland and the city of museums!

I am a German-Israeli living in Basel with my little family.

I am a part-time tour guide in Basel, the Swiss Alps, and the Black Forest with about five years of experience. I have guided groups ranging from 14-year-olds to retirees on anything from short city tours to two-week Europe tours, and I have been loving every second of it.

In my tours, I love showing my favorite spots in the old town of Basel while trying to connect stories about modern culture and trends back to the history and tradition of the old Swiss confederacy.

Fascinating history, direct democracy, giant mountains, armed neutrality, and a myriad of unintelligible Swiss German dialects, we have all of it here in the land of cows and chocolate!
