I've been putting the basis of a little authentic hand-made shoe studio for the last year and I love every single moment of it. It's a creative way to give people beautiful things as souvenirs instead of the ugly souvenirs you can get at the main touristy attractions.
I'm a big fan of qualitative shoes and I love being part of the creative process when one decides what they want to create for themselves. I spent my afternoons in an artistic environment learning the art of creating hand-made, tailored Italian shoes.

A woman artist in a man world… she is great and talented,the sandals are beautiful. Workroom organized and gave us the feeling to stay and work more. Also if you like tailored shoes she is the one…. Everybody loves tailored Italian shoes and these ones with a femme touch, we will order online soon. (Nop I am not her family and met her in the experience)Best experience

I booked this activity as a surprise for the two ladies travelling with me (my wife and my niece). I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect before arriving however once we did, the ladies eyes just lit up. Francesca was so friendly and personable and welcomed us so graciously. The ladies were so happy with the directions and guidance Francesca provided in building and making their own special candles from Italy. Francesca is certainly a master craftsperson in her area of expertise (custom shoe and sandals).
They both said this was by far their best part of of two week trip in Italy. That’s certainly saying something. Best Experience

Francesca is fun, funny, and just delightful. She walked us through the steps of making sandals. It’s a little bit artsy and a little bit of manual labor. Very fun experience. She steps in to help at difficult parts. We thoroughly enjoyed our whole time! Magical Roman creative experience

Amazing experience with a true artisan. My wife and daughter took part in Francesca’s sandal-making workshop. I was able to hang out and drink espresso (thank you!) while they made their own pair of sandals. Francesca was a great and patient teacher and fun to talk to. You are able to see some of her other work (generally dressier shoes) which was impressive. I can’t recommend this workshop enough.

My friend and I really enjoyed taking this class with Francesca. She walked us through the making of leather sandals, checking us step by step to make sure we were doing it correctly. She was very friendly and we learned a lot about hand made shoes. She has really beautiful portfolios of her work as well.Fun and engaging class

We had the best time with Francesca! She was personable, very knowledgeable and so helpful. When we arrived she greeted us with a warm smile and delicious snacks. She explained the process and we got started right away. We got to choose the style and leather colors. We actually did the work and she checked every step. We ended up with such beautiful sandals.Made in Italy - by me!

Although we did have trouble finding the studio once we arrived it was amazing. We had a great learning experience and phenomenal conversation. I would recommend this experience to anyone and everyone. So informative.
