Turkish wine was an unknown for us and we valued our experts guidance and we tried wines made from some unique grapes. While Turkish wines aren’t limited to local varietals we decided to focus on those during our tasting. Fortunately, the wines we tried were very good and made by artisans, often women.Time to try Turkish Wine

Such an amazing wine tasting tour! Andrea was super knowledgable on Turkish wines (she literally wrote the book on Turkish wines!) and helped us pick out wines according to our taste. I try to do a wine tasting in each country I visit, and it was so cool being able to sample native grape varieties with someone with such a deep understanding of the wine making culture of Turkey. The tasting spots were super charming as well. Definitely a highlight of our Istanbul trip!!Amazing tour for curious wine lovers!

We book a 2 day wine tour from Istanbul through the Thrace region to explore and experience the Turkish wines from that area. Our guide, Goda, did a fantastic job of arranging an excellent itinerary that allowed us to visit four wineries, all very different and each one excellent. Each winery offered us multiple wines to experience, accompanied by delicious tasting platters. We throughly enjoyed talking with the winemakers at each wineries and we learned SO MUCH we never knew about Turkish wines. It was an absolutely fascinating tour, and delicious. But even more, a huge part of the enjoyment we had was our fabulous guide, Goda. She is has extensive knowledge about Turkish wines and many other topics as well, and most notably, she is so easy to spend time with because she is warm, open, engaging and genuine. We truly cannot emphasize enough how much we enjoyed our tour with Goda. We highly recommend her and her tours!Memorable 2 Day Turkish Wine Tour

We had the pleasure to be guided by Andrea on the streets of Istanbul and into the world of Turkish wines. Andrea is very passionate, knowledgeable and friendly. Doga and Sinan were fantastic - we had a lovely day on the Thrace Wine Route and were able to visit three special wineries and have a lovely lunch. The rain didn’t stop us from taking some fantastic photos and we couldn’t help but buy bottles from each of the three wineries to take home. Highly recommended!Book now, enjoy delicious wines later!
