My perfect day is probably different from yours. I wanted a chill day away from crowds and Gulce gave me what I was looking for. It was my first visit to Istanbul and I learned to use the impressive transit system, ate delicious local foods, drank Turkish coffee, visited several neighborhoods and bought a few trinkets to bring home. I also learned about history of some places and why there are so many cats in Istanbul. Not just any perfect day, MY perfect day. Thank you!My perfect day in Istanbul

We had a fabulous time with Gulce with 10 food stops on a three hour walking tour. Gulce was informative and fun and the food she chose was a great mix of flavours and dishes. Highly recommended.A great taste of Turkey

Gülce was a wonderful guide — warm, flexible, and easy to follow. Her English was excellent, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. The tour offered delicious local food in generous portions (don’t eat beforehand!) and just the right hint of local knowledge about daily life and history. Our group of 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 8–13) loved every stop. Perfectly timed at 3 hours — a real highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!Istanbul Must Do Tour

Gülce really gave us a tremendous tour of the Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia, and the Basilica Cistern. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. She was so kind to give us a recommendation for a restaurant for dinner that night and then to actually walk us over to the restaurant so that we could look at the menu and the atmosphere. From there, she brought us to the Grand Bazaar to help my wife find a particular necklace that she had been looking for. She knew the right shops to go to and stayed with us until my wife had found the necklace and paid for it -- even though it was 30 minutes after the official end of the tour! She is just such an intelligent, kind, and thoughtful person! The only downside for this tour is that even though it is titled "Haghia Sophia Tour", the entrance fees for Hagia Sophia are not included. We had to pay a fee for the Basilica Cistern as well. In the end, these fees doubled the cost of the tour.Gülce was wonderful!

We had a lovely visit to Istanbul with Gülce! She's a very knowledgeable and friendly guide and she made sure we got to see everything we wanted to cover in our short visit. We had the pleasure of a wonderful tour of Hagia Sophia and surrounding area with Gülce. She knew all the history which made the experience for all of us so much better. She even got us into the “tour” line for the Bassillica Cistern which saved us a lot of waiting around (and she also hard great knowledge on the Cistern as well). We spent a lovely day with Gulce touring the most famous sights in the Old City of Istanbul. She is extremely knowledgeable about the history and is able to present it in an approachable manner. Without her, we never would have appreciated was we were seeing. I am now a convert to taking a private tour! Crash course in the history of Istanbul

Gulch was flexible in adapting to a slightly different itinerary than originally requested when our friends could not make the trip . She had an excellent knowledge of the background and history of all areas. We traveled on local trams and funiculars to the old and new cities which got us around efficiently and enabled us to travel like locals. She gave us some great suggestions for our next day, and enabled us to feel comfortable traveling around on our own. We would absolutely recommend her and believe she is perfect for small groups wanting a more personal experience. Gulce was the perfect guide for us

Our family had a fantastic tour with Gülce. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Her time management ensured that we missed the queues despite it being a very busy day. Not only did we learn a lot about Hagia Sophia, the blue Mosque and the Cisternes but also about Turkish history and culture.
