We had a great afternoon with Gustavo, where he introduced us to the sites and history of Porto. What a great way to start our time here as this tour allowed us to get our bearings and determine where we wanted to spend more time. In addition to being a great tour guide, Gustavo was helpful in providing restaurant and wine recommendations. We would recommend his tour of Porto to others as you will get the real history.Great introduction to Porto!

We had the most amazing experience exploring the stunning Douro Valley in Porto, thanks to our incredible guide. Gustavo. From start to finish, everything was perfectly curated and intimate, just the way we wanted it. Our day started with a scenic drive through the valley, and our guide's knowledge and passion for the region truly enhanced the experience. Lunch at a local restaurant was nothing short of delicious—authentic flavors and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The highlight of the trip was visiting two beautiful wineries, both offering breathtaking views of the valley. The settings were serene, with no crowds, making it feel like we had the entire experience to ourselves. If you're considering visiting the Douro Valley, this is the only way to do it. Gustavo is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects and gives honest recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed his sharing of this beautiful country, the comfortable premium ride, the restaurant he brought us to, the beautiful winery he brought us to for wine tasting, and his amaizing photo taking skills. Wir waren mit Gustavo einen ganzen Tag im Douro-Tal unterwegs. Er holte uns pünktlich im Hotel im Porto ab und zeigte uns die Kleinstädte Regua und Lamego. Seine ausgezeichneten Fachkenntnissen zur Weinproduktion und zur Geschichte des Tals liessen keine Fragen offen. Gustavo ist äusserst dienstleistungsorientiert und passt sich jederzeit den Wünschen seiner Gäste an. Wir hatten einen genialen Tag mit ihm und können eine Tour mit ihm sehr empfehlen.Genialer Tag im Douro-Tal

My wife and I had a fantastic day with Gustavo touring the Duoro Valley from Porto. He picked us up on time from our hotel in a late model Mercedes which was immaculately clean and extremely comfortable. His knowledge of the area and of Portuguese history and culture made our conversation as easy as talking to a friend, which now Gustavo is. We mentioned our interest in tasting dry wines and we visited two wineries with tasty offerings of both dry and sweet. He also stopped off at several view points to showcase the valley. We took great interest in watching a river cruise ship pass through a very large lock, a rise of perhaps 10 meters or more. We stopped at a lovely family owned restaurant for lunch and it was so good! We had the goatling with rice for two people and it fed us all. Gustavo’s wine recommendation was perfect! It was a full day of pleasant conversation and we learned a lot about the Douro and Portugal. Thanks, Gustavo! I will recommend him to everyone I know coming to Porto.Go With Gustavo!

Gustavo is very knowledgeable and we learned a lot on this trip. The scenery was breathtaking, and Gustavo showed us local places where the tour buses don't stop. Since surprisingly, there was no traffic on the way back to Porto and we arrived earlier than we had anticipated, Gustavo drove us around Porto and showed us some sights that we had not been to before. Overall we are very happy with Gustavo and our tour.amazing day in Douro Valley

Four of us, first time visitors to Porto, felt in the hands of an expert as we toured the Douro valley with Gustavo. His geographical, historical and oenological knowledge is outstanding, and very well imparted.
