Gustavo transferred us from Porto to Lisbon so we could make the most of our travel day. We stopped in Coimbra and Batalha. Gustavo was knowledgeable, energetic, interesting, funny and friendly. He was communicative and punctual, but also very flexible. Today could’ve been. Wasted day for us, but Gustavo made it one of the favorite days of our trip. We are so thankful and will definitely use him again when we come back to Porto! An amazing day with Gustavo!

We spent our first day in Portugal with Gustavo. He arrived to our hotel on time, and took us in his clean comfortable car to theDuoro Valley. We learned a lot of Portuguese history and Port along the way. We stopped for a delicious lunch with amazing wine followed by another winery to try number of Ports. It was super enjoyable. Highly recommend! Delightful day with Gustavo

Absolutely 5 stars for Gustavo! He was an absolute gentleman from start to finish, gracious, warm, and endlessly accommodating. He guided us through the Douro wine valley with a perfect mix of fascinating history, scenic detours, and hidden gems we never would have found on our own. He took us to the most lovely, delicious authentic spot for lunch! We genuinely enjoyed his company, he’s not only a fantastic guide but just a wonderful person to spend the day with. My husband and I landed in Porto the day that Portugal and Spain experienced a complete blackout. We were scheduled to do a five hour city tour with Gustavo and he was going to graciously pick us up from the airport. Thank goodness he had our flight information because he was waiting for us when we got off the plane with a sign with our names. If it wasn't for him picking us up from the airport we would've wasted four hours, trying to get a taxi during the blackout, Even though everything was shut down, he still drove us around to see some of the sites in his car. When he dropped us off, he said if the power came on, he would come and pick us up from our Airbnb and finish the tour which he did. He was easy to be around very knowledgeable and accommodating. He asked us what else we wanted to see the second day and one of the things was visiting the FC Soccer Club, which he took us to. We invited him to dinner that evening and he took us to a local place and ordered for us. Highly recommend Gustavo. I feel like he's a friend of ours now.Gustavo Saves The Day

Gustavo took us on a lovely drive through the beautiful Douro Valley and shared many interesting facts about the agricultural history of this region of Portugal. Gustavo is a witty and wonderful conversationalist, quite knowledgeable about his country’s history, and he speaks excellent English. The scenery throughout the drive was spectacular, and we had opportunities to take pictures and ask questions, and every stop along the way was delightful, as was the wine we tasted. We also stopped at a traditional Portuguese restaurant in a quaint and charming little village and ate a delicious meal accompanied by some excellent wine. All in all, we had a marvelous and memorable experience with Gustavo. Delightful time in the Douro Valley

The Douro Valley with Gustavo was not a tour but an immersive experience. Not only was the Douro Valley a beautiful and remarkable feat of ingenuity - picture Switzerland meets Tuscany- Gustavo gives you a wonderful view of history and culture- my favorite experience of my 3 weeks in Spain and Portugal ( food and wine was fabulous as well)Exceptional Experience

We did the Coimbra and Alveiro day tour with Gustavo and had a great time. Gustavo gave us just the right of information about what we were seeing and made sure we had enough background to understand the context of things. The lunch stop was perfect. And Gustavo is easy company and very engaging as well as knowledgeable. Great day out

Gustavo was an excellent tour guide for my trip from Porto to Lisbon. He arrived on time and his car was immaculate and very comfortable. We visited Fatima and the Monastery of Batalha, which was breathtaking. Gustavo was informative and fun! Being a solo traveler, I was happy to have a driver I felt safe with. He was a pleasure to spend the day with. My travels with Gustavo
