Qualifications & Experience

Capadocia University.Tourist Guiding Diploma

Anatolian University Literature ,Language,History Faculty Diploma.

High level language certificate in English given by Higher Education Council of Republic of Turkey.

I’m always interested in history ,languages,different cultures, people etc.I entered to Capadocia University to get professional Tourist guiding certificate.Currently,I have tourist guiding certificate in English language.I truly enjoy showing Istanbul to my guests and comunicating with them.

Had the absolute pleasure of having Hakan as a tour guide in istanbul recently. From the minute he arrived, he was superb. Took us to all the sites, but was patient, very good at explaining the history with locations and ensured we were working to our time, not his own. Such a nice man, perfect host and ambassador for istanbul and Turkey in general. Highly recommended, would use him again Best one we have done in any city to date. Best City Guide ever

We spent a couple of great hours wth Hakan seeing the most important sites. We particularly loved the visit to the cistern (and not having to wait in line!). He has very good knowledge of the history and the architecture. We learnt a lot abd had a good time. Kickstart tour

We spent approximately 5 hrs with Hakan on a flight layover. He cheerfully greeted us at an ungodly hr of 6:00am and showed us an area that we had never explored in Istanbul. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. His driver was also very good. It was interesting exploring the city in the early morning as it was coming alive. I would highly recommend his services. Excellent guide

Hakan is a very nice Guide who showed us the highlights of Istanbul. Altough it was a tour of 8 Hours it went really quickly and we learnt a lot about the culture and the history of Istanbul. We met Hakan in our local coffeehouse on Day 1 of 2. Lovely and warm, Hakan explained what he had in mind for us that day, and then perhaps realising my lack of walking ability, seamlessly reverted to Plan B. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our two days, learning a lot about Turkey’s past and present. Thank you friend and see you in London. Lovely two days in Istanbul.
