I booked the 5 Hour City Tour with Hana as a solo traveler and it was amazing. Hana is knowledgeable, kind, witty, and speaks excellent English. She has lots of interesting stories to tell, knows all the historical facts, also she takes great photos! We knew very little about Prague at the start of our tour but Hana guided us around the beautiful city she knew well and loved giving us a real insight into the rich, varied and truly interesting history, culture and people. Just wow! Hana is an incredible guide. Her love for Prague shines through, and it’s clear she truly enjoys sharing her city with visitors. She said it was her hobby, and it’s quickly apparent that that’s a very accurate description. Her enthusiasm and excitement is so genuine—almost as if she’s experiencing Prague for the first time right alongside you. I usually have a short attention span, but Hana kept me engaged for over four hours. Her knowledge of Prague (and how it ties in with wider European and world history) is extraordinary and her story-telling skills means the tour is both fun and memorable. We had a fantastic day with Hana (and her husband George, aka the driver) in Cresky Krumlov. Hana is very knowledgeable and we learned a lot not only about the location but also about her country. Let me start by explaining our need for a private guide. We have a 20 year old with additional needs and we wanted to share Prague in a way that she could enjoy too. We picked Hana for her local knowledge not appreciating how compassionate and considererate she would be as a guide. We learnt so much about the city, we asked so many questions and we went off the planned route to ensure our daughter got as much out of the tour as we did. I can't recommend Hana highly enough. Our tour with Hana was absolutely amazing. We learned so much about Prague and the tour was interesting and engaging for all of us (adult and three teenagers). She was kind and found a way to relate to each of us. Hana was a great guide. She taught us about the history of Prague and explained the "why and the how" behind major developments in Prague and Czechoslovakian history. We also stopped and had a nice snack.
