We really enjoyed our time with Harry. He was friendly and shared information about Cusco and his personal history along the way. However, we expected to have an appetizer at each of our stops. We had none. Harry brought potato chips which were great, but we expected more food than that. Additionally, there seemed to be a bit of lack of planning. The 2nd place we went was closed (long term) and the 3rd was full. Great time but not what we expected
Harry was an excellent guide to take us to some places we wouldn't have thought to go. He was thoughtful to the day and time and rearranged things to help us see as much as possible. He told us a lot of interesting history and even supplied some great recommendations for the remainder of the trip.Great food and conversation!
We had a very good personal contact. Harry gave us very much infos about Cusco and helped very engaged with my blind husband. We would like to meet him again.Tour Wed17th 11:30
Harry was absolutely a delight to communicate with. It was my husband's birthday and he helped to coordinate a surprise birthday cake for him. Not only we got to see Cusco at a local level, we had a great time laughing and learning about the history of the Inca empire. What a treat!Treats
We had a great time, exploring Cusco's old town with our Withlocals guide. Harry was very knowledgeable on local and national history, offered interesting snippets of background and also took us on a little food tasting around the old market.
Harry was very flexible, adjusting the tour to meet our wishes - we had already walked Cusco in the two days before the tour and didn't want to cover the same areas again. Informative stroll around Cusco
We spent an afternoon touring Cusco with Harry and it was wonderful. He showed us hidden gems and places that we wouldn't go by ourselves, Harry is very kind, patient and has a lot knowledge about the city and Peru in general. You should definitely book his tour :) Great guide in Cusco
Harry gave me a great walking tour of Cusco. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He even went out of his way to get me something to help with the altitude sickness when I arrived. Would definitely recommend a tour with himGreat way to see the cusco city
I adore With Locals and recommend it to all my friends that travel. To use a baseball analogy, this tour was a "swing and a miss."
Harry was friendly, kind, and knew his way around Cusco. We visited the Market (drank juice), a Catholic church (not the Cusco Cathedral), then visited Three Monkeys cafe and sipped lattes. Our conversations were thoughtful, lively, and light on history and facts. I was ready to learn about Cusco's rich history and place in the Inca Empire but instead got a lot of sweeping statements and generalizations. Most of all I was extremely disappointed we only walked past the Temple of the Sun where Harry paused briefly to tell me, "supposedly that turret was once covered in gold." And off we went. I believe Harry's more suited for the foodie tour over history.
But I'm not deterred, I'll definitely use With Locals again.Friendly, but not what I'd hoped
Harry was the nicest guy. He spoke English fluently and we immediately felt comfortable going around Cusco with him. He took us to the market where we tried various local snacks and then took us to a few local spots for empanadas, chicharron and dessert/coffee. These are not spots we would have found on our own. He even accommodated our request to see the San Blas neighborhood and recommended some restaurants to us after the tour was over by WhatsApp. He was super nice, the food was tasty and we had an overall great time! The nicest guide!
Harry took my friends and I on a wonderful culinary tour. This was in the midst of the agricultural strike, so he had to make adjustments to make our tour work and happen. We are extremely grateful as it was an amazing time. We had good food and good conversations! Everyone should book a tour with Harry!Had the best time!
