Helena asked in advance what we would like to gain from our time with her, and she designed a tour that was perfect for us! While walking through the old city streets, through tiny alleys and wide plazas, Helena pointed out so many details and hidden wonders that we would never have known about. We had a great day discovering Amsterdam with Helena! She had planned the ideal tour for our family making sure that everyone enjoyed it and felt involved . We started from the old part of the city and gradually discovered the modern side, visited parts of Amsterdam which we would never know on our own..we had a break for delicious apple pie and ended on a ferry ride across the city! My niece and I booked a last-minute tour with Helena. She was very accommodating of our packed schedule. She taught us about the Coffee Shop culture and the Red Light District in a way that made us feel as if we were living it with her. We saw special spots, were able to ask kind of awkward questions and get really friendly and informative responses, and she made us feel comfortable with her sense of humor. Mostly, though, we learned so much about Dutch culture from Helena. She clearly loves Amsterdam and it's openness and now we do, too! Thank you, Helena! Fun and informative with a true local.
