We booked the tour to get an overview of Da Nang and Hieu was already very helpful in the booking process. He layed out the different tour options and made sure he had the right hotel to pick us up. Even a last minute hotel change wasn’t a problem. The tour itself was very good. Because Hieu came with his own car we could leave stuff in it at the different stops and Hieu even had water for us in the car. We change the plan during the day, because we had already seen some places. Hieu knows the city very well and came up with a different route for us. While drinking a coffee at the end he also answered all our questions about Da Nang and gave some great tips. Hieu’s English is excellent. Thanks again Hieu!Great and flexible Tour

Hieu is an experienced, professional and friendly tour guide that is also very responsive. When I was looking around for a tour guide, he was very responsive and was quick to provide a quote for consideration. Although I was worried about the weather since there was an airport closure quite close to my travel date, he was quick to reassure me that all was good for travel on the dates that I'll be there. On the day itself, he was friendly and professional and it was comfortable traveling around with him. His experience and expertise shows, as he was well prepared for bad weather (it rained heavily on and off while we were up on Ba Na Hills) for the both of us. As I was still recovering from a bad flu and cough, I was appreciative of his attention to detail - he sensed that I was struggling to keep moving due to the number of stairs/hills I had to manage on the tour and suggested we skip some parts to take things easy. His food recommendations were also very good and I enjoyed some surprisingly good food while I was there. Thank you Hieu for the experience in Da Nang! Day trip to Ba Na Hills with food tour

Hieu hat uns die Geschichte des Champa Volkes auf interessante Weise übermittelt. Hieu weiss sehr viel über die vietnamesische Geschichte, was es für uns sehr spannend gemacht hat. Wir durften mit Hieu einen lehrreichen Morgen erleben. Wir können Hieu als Guide sehr empfehlen.Interessante Tour

This is my first time with Withlocals and I had a pretty mediocre experience, unfortunately. I thought the price was pretty expensive for what we got. Hieu was a very nice gentleman, who was on time and patient. He waited for us to install a pretty difficult car seat into his car. He was also pretty quiet, and reserved so we had to ask questions to get some history and context of Vietnam. Nothing really stand out in the tour to Hoi An for us, we stopped by a temple and wasn't given anything history besides the fact that the frame of the door was written in Chinese. I think it's important to really have a plan for a tour like this and actively point out interesting people, food, streets, stores etc. as we go along. We really felt like we were with a driver more than a tour guide during this trip. A pretty expensive tour for what you get

We spent approx 8 hrs with Hieu we were on a cruise ship and having him pick us up (family of 6 ) and take us to the Golden bridge tour was so amazing He greeted us at the gate of the cruise ship and had all the local contacts and knowledge to make us cut some lines and get in and out so quick and effortlessly It was the best money we spent having him for the day and he also had a driver with a mini bus Amazing guide
