Hiromi gave us intro to Osaka specific foods, took us around and also shared a lot of nuance around culture. Being that she was a season traveler herself she loved our questions and was eager to share Udon and sushi spots were delish! Time with Hiromi was excellent!

We had 10 tastings experience with Hiromi and I can highly recommend it. We have read so many posts and watched many videos about Osaka eateries and street food, but it is so different to what Hiromi showed us. The food was amazing with every place and dish carefully chosen to wow us. I would definitely do it again if I come back to Osaka. Unforgettable experience in Osaka

We finished our tasting tour with Hiromi, last night. She was knowledgeable and an excellent teacher throughout the experience but what really made it special was that she customised the experience on the fly as she learned about what we wanted to get out of it. We got to try new things and Hiromi kept taking us to better and better spots as the night went on. She delivered a truly wonderful tour.Horimi is something special!

Hiromi was a wonderful guide, both of Osaka castle and the broader city. We first spent time learning about Osaka castle, then ventured to other areas of Osaka that Hiromi recommended. She took us on a tour of places we never would’ve found otherwise, including a very local shopping area with izakayas. Overall it was a great trip and Hiromi is a fantastic guide!Wonderful local tour of Osaka

We had a great time with Hiromi. She took us to so many local sites including Osaka castle, shrines, and a temple. She also took us to some great food spots and gave us great advice that we used for the rest of our trip. We had so much fun on the shopping street that she took us to that we went back the next day. I was able to get a kimono there at an excellent price. I did not see a better price for the rest of our trip. What a fantastic experience!Excellent Morning in Osaka

Hiromi was absolutely fantastic. She was friendly and energetic and knowledgeable. She was incredibly flexible with our changes to the tour and was quick to offer many options that might appeal to us. When we deviated from what we had discussed prior to meeting, she rolled with the punches perfectly and made every bit of the tour excellent and memorable. Even when asked to do something completely different she was immediately on board and did not hesitate to continue giving excellent information about every nuance and historical detail about where we were and what we were seeing. She was completely unfazed that it was raining and continued giving her all despite the weather. I cannot recommend her highly enough! If you have a chance to take a tour with Hiromi, you absolutely must! She is a treasure! I hope that we can come back and have another tour with her! Absolutely Terrific Tour!

We did 3 Withlocals tours in Japan and this one was our favorite! Hiromi really added to the experience. It wasn’t just tasting foods but learning some history of the foods and Japan. We loved some of the places she showed us so much that we went back for seconds that same night 🙈. Cannot recommend this tour enough! She also tailored to our likes which we really appreciated. Our favorite part of our stay!

Hiromi was warm and welcoming and knowledgable about the origins and types of food! We had must-try Osaka foods and she shared some of her usual lunch spots with us. She even gave us locals suggestions to further explore Osaka away from the tourists. I only wish we had scheduled our tour on day 1 or 2 of our visit to Osaka. We'll definitely recommend her to friends in the future! Delicious night on the town!
