Our tastings tour with Trang was a fabulous experience. Trang took us to local dining spots that we would never have been adventurous enough to try on our own. She was a lovely guide extremely knowledgeable & was accommodating to our individual requests. We made the Nghia Tan with Trang and it was definitely the most meaningful tour in Hanoi. We got the see how locals live, where they buy groceries, have dinner, or go to school. I highly suggest you to make this tour if you are interested in the local culture. Trang was very friendly and informative. She gave us great insights into local life and made the trip really enjoyable. We definitely recommend doing this tour with her.See how locals live

We had an awesome day with Trang! She is knowledgeable, very friendly and knows the ends and outs of Hanoi. She came promptly at 9:30 and we were whisked off to Ho Chi Minh mausoleum! It was busy, but she got us through quickly and answered all our questions?? We did so many more fun things with her, but I think our favorite was watching the train go by at 3:15! What a spectacular ending to our day with her! She’s also a very good photographer and we had a lot of fun taking pictures!!! I would 100% highly recommend her🩷Kirks and Trang exolore Hanoi !

our guide took us to some great locations we would never have found without her. we loved the old city gate and the train bridge. The style was engaging and positive and always interesting behind the scenes in Hanoi

Seeing that we had already done a driving tour of Hanoi’s main tourist sites, this was the perfect option for a second day of touring. Our guide, Trang, was extremely accommodating in developing the tour just for us. She showed us many hidden gems we hadn’t yet seen and our lunch stop was truly a local experience. If you're looking for an unforgettable way to experience Hanoi, this Nghia Tan Adventure is absolutely the way to do it! Having explored many parts of the city, I can confidently say that this tour was one of the best highlights of my time in Hanoi, if not the best! Unlike the usual tourist routes, this tour takes you deep into the heart of local life. Nghia Tan is a hidden gem, completely untouched by mass tourism, offering a truly authentic slice of Hanoi. Walking through bustling markets, discovering charming hidden cafés, and engaging with friendly locals gave me an entirely new appreciation for the city. A huge part of what made this tour so special was Trang, my incredible guide. She was warm, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about sharing her love for Hanoi. She tailored the experience perfectly to my interests—especially food and cooking appliances! She made sure I had the chance to explore incredible street food spots, talk to local vendors about their cooking techniques, and even see some of the unique appliances used in Vietnamese kitchens. One of the absolute highlights was visiting Nghia Tan Market, where I got to experience Hanoi’s vibrant street life up close. The freshness of the produce, the aromas of sizzling street food, and the warmth of the vendors made it an immersive cultural experience. But what truly set this tour apart was the chance to visit an actual apartment in Hanoi. Trang arranged for us to step inside a real home, where I had the privilege of having great conversations with two elderly residents of the apartment building. Hearing their stories and learning about daily life in Hanoi from their perspective was an incredibly humbling and memorable experience. Moments like these—so personal and unscripted—are what make this tour truly special. If you want to see the REAL Hanoi, beyond the usual tourist stops, this tour is a must. It offers a deeper connection to the city, its people, and its culture in a way that standard tours simply can’t match.
