This was truly different to any tour I’ve done before. Getting the chance to not just learn about Balinese culture, but to experience it first hand was truly exceptional and difficult to describe. Komang was absolutely wonderful and guided me through each step of the way, helping me to really connect to myself and the surroundings, something that was both peaceful and deeply energising at the same time. If you want to learn, experience and come away from your trip slightly more connected and fulfilled, then I would highly recommend you join Mangku and have him guide you through this beautiful experience. It combines Mangku’s knowledge, philosophies, empathy and guidance together with a truly stunning setting in nature and waterfalls, together with an immersive experience away from the hordes of tourists. Mangku and his driver, Jimi, picked me up from the hotel and drove me about 1.5 hours in the countryside past villages and rice fields to the temple, nestled in a lush valley where 2 rivers meet with 2 stunning waterfalls. He led me through the various stages and rituals of the purification ceremony and explained everything. He taught me a special meditation technique whilst sitting in a huge cave with the powerful sound of rushing waterfall in the background. I then bathed underneath the second waterfall and ended up back at the temple for the final ritual before driving back to my hotel. Overall a truly special day. Spiritual experience

This tour exceeded all our expectations! My partner and I had an amazing time immersing ourselves in Balinese spirituality and nature. Mangku Komang, our guide welcomed us warmly and led us on a journey that was mindful and beautiful. The day included a walk through the jungle to a breathtaking waterfall. The sounds of nature and the tranquility of the setting made it the perfect place to pause, reflect, and meditate. Great way to escape the crowds and see something more authentic and beautiful.

This experience is not your usual tourist destination. It was minding blowing. The ultimate cultural and spiritual journey. No tourists, only locals. You will not regret booking this. The best experience in my three week trip!!!!Exceptional

Komang accompanied me to the Melukat ritual in the Pura Taman Pecampuhan Sala temple. He was kind enough to organise a driver to pick me up from my hotel for a small extra charge. I hadn't quite realised that our excursion consisted solely of the ritual. I had somehow expected that we would also spend time outside the temple, hiking and meditating. This may have been due to the pictures on the Withlokals website, as Komang had actually described to me beforehand exactly what we were going to do. I had my own personal challenges during the ritual. Komang accompanied me in a very personalised and empathetic way. This allowed me to experience the spirituality of Bali at first hand. It was a really very personal experience for me that will stay with me. Back in Germany, I am still wearing the bracelet that Komang untied for me after the ritual. Welcome to Bali, said Komang. Mangku leads this spiritual journey in a safe environment. This experience taught me a lot about Balinese culture and the spiritual side of Bali.
