I did the 3 hour city tour on my own with I Putu Merta and thoroughly enjoyed it. Putu knows so much! We did the cultural sights and also the market and some food tasting - a lot was new to me! Putu was friendly, attentive and happy to answer any questions. At the end of the tour he made sure I was safely in my taxi and I appreciated that. I can highly recommend Putu! An interesting tour with a lovely guide!

We were very lucky to be able to discover Bali with Putu and can recommend him wholeheartedly! From the very beginning, he understood our wishes and tailored the tour perfectly to our interests, especially with children. With a lot of patience, knowledge and humor, he not only showed us the well-known sights! Our trips with Merta were amazing. From the initial planning, the advise and the days itself. Merta was on time, super patient with us and was amazing with the kids, shown by the amount of hugs he was getting. Conversations were interesting and we learned a lot about Balinese culture. We never felt rushed and could take all the time we need and we changed itinerary without any problems. Would definitely book with Merta again.Amazing

We had an fun day exploring Bali with Putu as our guide! From the moment he picked us up, he made us feel comfortable and welcomed. He’s incredibly kind and a true wealth of knowledge about Balinese culture, sights, and cuisine. Putu was very helpful and flexible in personalizing the trip and introduced us to authentic Balinese dishes at some great spots, that we would never have discovered on our own. I spent the day with Putu on a private tour and it was simply amazing from beginning to end!! No matter the subject, whether culinary, culture, historically, mysticism, religion, or horti/agriculture...Putu knows! Spending time with him has been one big masterclass on the ins and outs of Bali. We enjoyed every single one of his stories and anecdotes with insights on the island's culture. He took our family to a jaw-dropping beach, to numerous temples, the lush Goa Raja waterfall, traditional Balinese salt farming and let us have a taste of the best babi guling.
