Today we had the pleasure of having Idris as our guide around Fes, and I mean pleasure. He is such an intelligent, well informed, gentle, urbane man with a wealth of knowledge about the history of the country, its culture, religions, customs and architecture. It was fascinating to hear him talk on a wealth of topics. Unlike many guides, he did not steer us into shops where we were pressured to buy. Instead he proffered suggestions as to the type of interests we may wish to pursue. We were not rushed, instead we had a thoroughly enjoyable day gaining an insight inside both past and present Fes. We had a really great time exploring the old medina with Idriss. He is a very kind and knowledgable man who speaks many languages and was able to explain lots about the local history to us. He did not try to sell us anything and waited patiently whilst we looked around. Would really recommend taking a tour with him - it enhanced our experience of Fes. Idriss was een super gids. Iemand met heel wat jaren ervaring. Kent zeer veel mensen in de Medina waardoor je overal welkom bent. Bedankt Idriss. Tot slot nog samen een Marokkaanse koffie drinken . Top ervaring !! Amazing tour with Idriss

Walking the Medinas from the 9th and 14th centuries with tour guide Idriss is a wonderful experience. He is extremely knowledgeable about culture, history and tidbits of information. His gentle, friendly style is welcoming. Passersby of stop to greet him - he is well known and respected throughout Fes. We enjoyed his behind the scene access to some off track places. Yes - you can explore Fes on your own but time with Idriss adds meaning and defintion to your experienceFantastic Fes Guided Tour

Idris is a fantastic guide! He spent over 5 hours delighting us with both his knowledge and patience. He easily accommodated our interests and our needs. Even our kids, age 8 and 11, had a great time. Idris, a great historian, has a wealth of knowledge about a city he clearly loves. Great visit with Idriss who showed us the medina of Fez. As he grew up in the city, he has lots of knowledge, knows the people and vendors, and shows you the highlights during a 3 hour tour. He picked us up at the riad in the morning. Idriss speaks perfect English and French and is very friendly. I highly recommend you book him to visit the medina the firts time. Idriss is a very friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed guide. He not only explained lots, was also kind enough to bring us (on our request) to a very nice restaurant in the Medina where we had a great lunch, to an ATM and to a very nice tea room where we had the best tea. He also recommended us a very nice restaurant in the city centre. We found his voice very engaging and he had a very good pace. We did guided tours in Marrakech and Rabat and, in comparison to the other guides, Idriss was definitely the guide we liked most. Thank you Idriss. We hope to see you soon again in Fes. The best guide in town
