Just a simple woman with a good taste for cooking and receiving friends. The idea is to introduce you to a traditional home meal, paired with good wines. I live with my two daughters and with a nice dog (if you don t like he will go for an holiday). Some years ago I decided to live in a nice comfortably city centre flat, in a 18th century building. I love history and art and Lisbon is full of historical examples of our long past as a country.

Wonderful experience with Isabel and Chico the dog was great. 4 courses of great food and wonderful conversation. Isabel welcomed us into her home and shared Lisbon with us. Would definitely do it again. Unbelievable and wonderful food!

Isabel hosted my husband and I for dinner in her home during our trip to Lisbon in March. We enjoyed fresh local food (she shared her recipes!) & wine and filled our evening with stories and laughter. Isabel made us feel like a part of her family from the moment we walked through her door. I'm hopeful our paths will cross again sometime. Highly recommend booking with Isabel when you're in Lisbon. A fantastic evening!

Dinner with Isabel was a wonderful experience. She welcomed us for the evening and we felt instantly comfortable. We had three courses, plus dessert and wine. Fruits, breads, meats followed by a fish pie and then pork. Everything was delicious. We loved the whole evening, sharing stories with Isabel and her sweet dog, Chico. We all feel as though we have made a new friend. Thank you, Isabel!!The best evening!

Dining at Isabel’s home was an amazing experience. She is kind and fun and gracious… and, prepared a fantastic lunch with many delicious flavours to try. I booked this tour on behalf of a group of clients who were traveling through Lisbon. Isabel was very responsive to the messages I sent to her about the group's dietary restrictions and questions about how to arrive to her home. The group had a fantastic time and said they loved the food and that Isabel was a gracious host and made them all feel welcome. A great experience overall - highly recommend.A great meal & cultural experience

We had such a great time being hosted by Isabel for dinner. The meal was wonderful (so much delicious food) and the conversation was fantastic. We didn’t stop talking the whole night and learned so much about Portuguese history, geography, culture, wine, and more! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone traveling to Lisbon. My husband and I had the wonderful pleasure of dining with Isabel as her guest in her home. The company was an enjoyed as much as the food. Isabel is a wonderful cook and served us many dishes giving us the opportunity to experience Portuguese food at its best. Isabel was waiting on her balcony for my taxi.
She was charming & hospitable.
I felt very welcome & comfortable
We had a stimulating conversation over a multi course dinner.
The food was all delicious She is going to share one of her recipes with me.
We drank a lovely white wine.

Six of us were warmly greeted by Isabel. She prepared a wonderful dinner and was very accommodating with dietary restrictions. Everyone enjoyed our hand prepared Portuguese feast and learning a bit about Portuguese culture and food.
Was really a great experience and I do not hesitate to recommend dining with Isabel. Highlight of Lisbon visit
