"My name is Ivo and I've been a licensed guide for several years now. From my experience I can say that Dubrovnik itself is doing most of my job. Whether it's the astonishing architecture of this unique UNESCO World Heritage site, the rich history or the many opportunities it bares.

Another thing that makes my profession so easy is that I don't look at it as a job. It's more like a holiday I take with people from all over the world in the city I live. So it happens that I am the one knowing where to go and what to show.

Not only as a local but as a traveller, I bring experience to the table.

I've been in different countries so I know what means trying to get the most out of a visit.

To tell you a little bit more about me, I have a master's degree in Media and Communication. My interests are widespread including history, religion, politics, culture and sports. I wrote earlier that I travelled some places, different continents, countries and cultures, always looking to fulfill one desire - to witness something great and experience something memorable. I guess that is something everybody is looking for.

If you're considering a Game of Thrones tour in Dubrovnik, do yourself a favour and *ask for Ivo*. Hands down, he is the best guide we’ve ever had—knowledgeable, passionate, funny, and a true storyteller in every sense of the word. From the moment we met Ivo, we knew we were in for something special. He didn’t just walk us through filming locations—he *brought them to life*. With an encyclopedic knowledge of the show and the history of Dubrovnik, Ivo seamlessly wove together behind-the-scenes stories, character arcs, and local legends. He had an a photo book to show scene photos that matched each stop, making it feel like we were walking straight into Westeros. He was even played an extra for one of the scenes making it feel like we had the inside scoop. What made the tour truly unforgettable was Ivo’s personality. He’s witty, engaging, and incredibly kind. He took the time to personalize the experience, answered every question and made sure we had plenty of photo ops. We left the tour with huge smiles, a deeper appreciation for both Game of Thrones *and* Dubrovnik, and a feeling that we’d just spent a few hours with a friend who truly loves what he does. Besser hätte uns Dubrovnik nicht näher gebracht werden können. Auf einem gut eineinhalb stündigem Sparziergang durch die Alltstadt von Dubrovnik mit Dem sehr sympathischen Ico erklärte er uns , ohne uns mit überbordenden Zahlen zu ermüden, die Geschichte, die jüngere Vergangenheit und die Gegenwart der Stadt. Selten eine so kurzweilige und interessante Führung erlebt. Wir können Ivo für eine deutschsprachige Stadtführung in Dubrovnik nur weiterempfehlen ! Die 3 Stunden vergingen wie im Flug! Ivo ist perfekt auf alle Interessen unserer Gruppe mit Erwachsenen und Jugendlichen eingegangen. Die Mischung aus Geschichte der Stadt und Infos zu GOT waren perfekt. Vielen Dank Ivo!Tolle Führung für die ganze Familie!

Ivo ist spitze, wir können ihn als Stadtführer nur empfehlen! Er hat die Führung sehr interessant, lehrreich, lebendig und einfach nur super gestaltet. Die Zeit ging leider viel zu schnell um. Wir haben viel über Dubrovnik und natürlich auch über GoT erfahren.Tolles Erlebnis mit einem tollen Führer

Wir kamen wegen Game of Thrones. Mit Ivos für uns maßgeschneiderten Tour, wurden alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Ein hoch auf den dornischen Edelmann Nummer 4. Informativ, unterhaltsam und extrem kurzweilig. Ivo als Typ und Guide eine absolute Empfehlung von uns. Großartige Tour mit einem klasse Guide.

Dank Ivo haben wir Dubrovnik rundum und dabei ganz individuell entdeckt. Vom ersten Kontakt an ist er auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen und hat sich auch während der Stadtführung auf unsere Kinder eingestellt. Es war genau die richtige Mischung aus historischem Wissen, aktuellen Details und persönlichen Erfahrungen die die Zeit trotz der großen Hitze und der unglaublich vollen Stadt wie im Flug haben vergehen lassen.Stadtführung nach Maß

Ivo was very patient with our family of 6 adults from USS as it was extremely hot.he was knowledgeable and easy going. He added some local history which we all appreciated because some of us in GOT Tour have never seen the series. Highly recommended Ivo!Ivo rocks GOT!
