Gianni was a great tour guide and made us feel welcome and like we were friends on an outing. He was knowlegable about the city and the food scene. He was fun to be with and shared his love of the foods of Florence. We LOVED this food tour and are so glad we booked with Gianni! He was so welcoming, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor too. The market and 1,000 year old wine cellar were the highlights of our trip where we got to speak with locals and try the foods that you can tell they put their heart and souls into. Such a great way to see the city and feel (and taste) the culture. Thank you Gianni!!!! Delicious food & incredible guide

We had the best morning with Gianni walking around Florence and exploring the city from the perspective of a true local. Gianni was an excellent and well informed guide and taught us a lot about the city. Everything we tasted was delicious and the tour was a great balance of walking, resting and eating. Gianni gave us the 10 Tastings of Florence tour. Given the heat wave, he suggested we move our tour to the morning time. We went to various cafes, markets, bakeries, a wine shop, and a gelato shop. We tried lots of delicious and interesting foods and had great fun. He provided some context and history about the foods, the culture, and the regions where things are more common. He was friends with everyone that worked in the places that we visited, which made us feel like special guests. Our children, ages 12 and 10, enjoyed it as well. Gianni was amazing as was the tour! Gianni was happy to meet us at a different location than listed. He was so knowledgeable about Florence and it’s various types of food. Gianni knows a lot about food and is passionate about showing Florentine food from a local perspective. We were taken to many stops that we would never have found on our own, and the food was all so delicious. There is so much food on this tour, and we were stuffed by the time it was over!
