Cooking, especially Indian dishes, for friends and family from all over the world has always been an ardent passion of hers. She has always made it a point to serve an authentic Indian meal to all volunteers who have visited her.

Jenny tailored our cooking class to include a visit to the market and spice market - we didn't actually buy anything for our cooking class there, but it was nice to walk around and take photographs. She also made a pit stop by a local synagogue once we found out we were Jewish, so that was very nice. Cooking class was excellent and was a great opportunity to learn how to cook with whole spices in addition to ground. She gave us a good overview of spice combinations and shared her particular blends with us. Pretty much everything was prepped/chopped already so it was more learning how to combine everything vs. cooking, but it was a very good experience and would definitely do it again. She also sent us home with gift bags of spices that we used and a booklet of all the recipes we prepared, so that we could make them again when we returned home. Jenny is a gem and we had a wonderful time with her! Only thing to improve (and this is just my opinion, I am sure it makes things easier for her and others!) would be to have us pick up some of the foods at a market and then do more of the prep work ourselves, but that is just cause we think that part is fun. My experience was fantastic and absolutely outstanding! To begin with, Jenny was super accommodating and welcoming. Genuine hospitality and kindness that makes you feel you’re a new member of the family.
I really enjoyed the interactive cooking class experience with Jenny, it was very informative I learnt a lot about the different Indian cuisine from every corner of the subcontinent. I enjoyed how Jenny had me interact with her while cooking. Along with that comes lots of cultural storytelling which makes you indulge even more in the culture!
I’ll always remember this super experience for life, beautiful moments that I’ll forever cherish.

We were a group of 4 and had a wonderful interactive cooking experience with Jenny Jenny is super organized and lovely lady. We requested some particular dishes which Jenny duly obliged.
Jenny and her family were very welcoming in their home and shared some personal insight into their cooking skills.
We loved our lesson and have new insight into the wonders of Jennys region of Indian cooking. We requested to learn how to make Parantha which Jennys house helper demonstrated with skill and ease. Another skill for us to take home and attempt to master lol.
All in all we had a excellent experience. Jenny was a delight and her family were friendly and welcoming. The cooking was easy , not complicated and Jenny supplied the recipes and very kindly gave us all the necessary spices to start us off at home with our new found culinary expertise.
I would highly recommend Jennys Hand on Curry experience. Her communication prior was excellent , she also arranged transportation to and from her home. All in all a great authentic happy experience Thanks Jenny Fabulous Cooking Experience

We were welcomed in Jenny’s home and left 4 hours later, super enthusiastic and confident we were able to prepare a delicious Indian meal.
Jenny keeps her dishes simple and supports it with the receipes. Take a pen along for extra tips. Her love and pride in cooking is contagious, our enthusiasm grew, and in the end we just couldn’t stop repeating what a great time we had had there. She surprised us with a gift which made the lesson complete. I would do it again. And again ...I can cook an Indian meal!

I met Jenny in her lovely home in the Mahim area of Mumbai, where she had set out for me all the ingredients needed to cook a multi-dish feast. She explained each ingredient, and showed me how to combine them in different ways to get dramatically different results--all tasty. Jenny is knowledgeable, welcoming, friendly, and a delight to hag out with and learn from. Highly recommended!Jenny's class is delicious & informative!

I spent a wonderful afternoon with Jenny in her lovely home learning to cook local Indian cuisine. First Jenny made the whole process of finding her home easy and she’s a great communicator. She made sure to check if I had any food allergies or other concerns and upon entering made me feel very welcome. Her recipes made cooking delicious Indian food much less scary of a task. She met me do much of the cooking which is what I wanted. But the best part was just talking to Jenny while we cooked and learning about her background and her family. Her love of food and travel and people is evident. I highly recommend this course with Jenny for anyone looking for a unique and local cooking experience!What a great experience in Mumbai

I had one of the best afternoons cooking with Jenny. She was the most welcoming host and was happy for me to watch as she cooked so I could pay attention to what she was doing as opposed to doing the cooking following her instruction which worked for me! We talked the entire time and it was fascinating to learn so much about her and Indian life as well as doing the cooking! I was also lucky enough to meet her family who were equally as welcoming and the time flew by. It is definitely an experience I would recommend and I will be doing it again when I come back.
I would also say that Jenny offers other tours and services and now knowing she is here I would recommend her for all your excursions - you just know you’re in safe and honest hands with Jenny! Jo (UK). Fantastic Afternoon!

Jenny meet me at a local coffee shop to start the afternoon lesson. We chatted about one another and her very interesting personal and family history. She taught me to make five unique Indian dishes and we discussed several others. Finally we ate and feasted on the delicious (and very large) meal we made. Overall this was a great experience. I learned a lot and had a lovely afternoon with Jenny. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to take a half day cooking course in Mumbai. Cheers! Great Cooking Lesson and Conversation
