Come and join me for slow and relaxed tours in keeping with the Spanish pace and way of life. I moved to Spain for 10 months...six years ago! Having spent this time exploring all the nooks and crannies and secret spots in Cadiz Province, I can't wait to share them!

I run guides with three distinct focuses: walking and exploring the beautiful nature of Cadiz; sampling and eating as much tapas & sherry as possible: meandering through the history and culture of Spain.

Our tour with Joanna in Cádiz (Cádi, Cádi, Cádi) 🤌 was amazing! She brought the city to life with her deep knowledge of its rich history and vibrant culture, guiding us through both the old and new parts with so much passion. Joanna also gave us some incredible food recommendations that led to one of the best meals of our trip. Her energy, storytelling, and love for Cádiz were contagious. What a wonderful time we had with Jenna she was the perfect host took us and showed us everything we could possibly want to see and plus we stopped at some fantastic places to have Sherry tappers and knowledge. Joanna was the perfect host. She very quickly gauged our tastes, interests and my physical capability. And so she was able to give us a great time, adapting everything and enabling us to thoroughly enjoy our tour in a very relaxed manner. We respected her choices as they were not only tasty but interesting too. She explained all dishes and the history behind them. We would highly recommend. A brilliant day, thank you, Joanna. We had a wonderful day with Joanna. She communicated very well with us before our tour day. The day itself was tailored to our interests and Joanna offered appreciated changes to our arrangements to cater for the inclement weather. Our day in Jerez was informative and interesting; tasting some lovely sherry wines, cocktails and tapas and learning about the history and culture of the town and the general Cadiz area. We would highly recommend Joanna. Wonderful day!

We booked Joanna on the With Locals website and had to make a couple of amends to timing due to the weather forecast. Not a problem at all, and Joanna kindly agreed to meet us at the Parador where we were staying. This meant our itinerary had to be amended slightly but, honestly, you could not find a more enthusiastic, knowledgeable and inspirational guide to introduce you to this millennia old and very proud independent city. Cadiz is so charming, the people so lovely and the history quite breath taking. We met at 11.00 and, on the dot of 12 midday we were treated to a breakfast Jerez - a very dry Manzanilla - with olives to put a little extra spring in our step. Joanna's knowledge of Cadiz, having lived there for over six years, was awesome, her English of course perfect, and she is known by the traders in the food market, so a table quickly became reserved for us whilst we went around ordering specialist tapas. She had so many tips and contacts we are now able to tap into, including places to visit throughout the Cadiz province. So professional and lovely, we cannot recommend her enough! We had the best time in Cádiz with Joanna! She introduced us to many areas of the city and gave us little bits of history throughout our food tour. The tastes we got were delicious and it was so much fun experiencing the areas of the city where the locals go to eat. We really enjoyed our time with Joanna and would recommend her as a guide for any tour!!Fabulous Tour!

Joanna arrived promptly and in the rain. She bought umbrellas with her, for us. Joanna has a warm and lively personality and was the ideal guide to show us around Cádiz. She has great knowledge and the history of the city. We were advised of where to go to eat local foods and drinks. I would thoroughly recommend Joanna as a guide of Cádiz.Joanna in Cadiz
