Brazilian photographer based in Paris since 1997. Today I am a correspondant from Polaris Images, an american photo agency. I have worked for the international press worldwide through different agencies, as Gamma, Gamma Liaison and Corbis publishing photo stories about social, economical and environmental subjects. I am a co-author of two books of the Amazon and I always visit my country with new photo projects.

Joao was a wonderful tour guide! Our family of four loved strolling the streets of the iconic Montmartre neighborhood. He showed us all the greatest local spots. It truly felt like we were hanging out with an old friend and the huge bonus is that we have pictures that captured one of the best experiences on our trip. Our kids ages 9 and 11 loved it too!Amazing Tour

We just returned from a family trip, and while looking for a unique, family-friendly tour (our kids are 10 & 6), came across this experience with Joao. What better way to explore Paris and to document our kids' first trip abroad. Joao was incredibly flexible with our schedule and was able to change the meeting point to include a site we wanted to have photos near. Even with a rainy late afternoon/evening, Joao kept the kids engaged and captured wonderful moments that we will be able to look at and treasure for years to come. Joao is an amazing guide and photographer. My sister and I had so much fun wandering the streets with him and meeting locals in various shops. We leaned so much about the area and really felt like we were traveling with a friend. We love our photos and the time we spent. Joao answered questions for us and even went above and beyond to help us find a driver for another day trip we were taking. Frankly, he really saved us a lot of trouble! We are forever grateful.

Joau was terrific, we liked him immediately. He was right on time, early actually, which I appreciate. While showing us around town he highlighted some must go to places as a local will know. Our expectations at the end of the tour/shoot was to really like 3 or 4 photos. Happy to say there were so many great photos to choose from. Thank you Joau for a great experience!I’d do it again!

I highly recommend this very special tour with Joao. Joao is a personable, hospitable, kind soul. It was truly a treat to spend the morning with him! Before booking I inquired about modifying the tour to also include photos of us with the Eiffel Tower and he responded quickly and tailored our tour. We saw so much, enjoyed some tasty treats, and have great family photos we will always treasure. It felt like strolling around the best places in Paris with a friend. Thank you Joao!!What a treat!

Joao is a good guide, very familiar with the neighbourhood of Montmartre district. He has given us a great start on the first day we arrived paris. He is patient and accomodating, as we have postponed our schedule to late afternoon due to hotel checkin. The photos he delivered exceed our expectations and he knew how to catch the cute moments of our 5-year-old girl. It is a good memory for our family. I recommend this tour to everyone. Know how on a family vacation you never get good photos of your whole group because someone has to take the photo? On this tour you get to see streets and sites you wouldn’t find on your own, and get great photos. Plus Joao is a great guy, and wonderful with children. This was a highlight of our Paris trip. Wobderful experience
