I just had a wonderful tour with Joao. I was amazed at how much i learnt during the 2 hours I had with him. I loved seeing the streets of Porto with a new set of eyes and even after leaving him i continued my journey of finding more street art around the city and telling my husband all about it. A super unique way to explore the city. Highly recommend his street art tour.I learnt so much

This was such a great afternoon. João's enthusiasm & love of Porto made for an engaging and interesting time. Such a cool tour. Joao showed us interesting street art while explaining parts of the city. He was incredibly knowledgeable and spent a lot of time describing the art and the story behind the artists. He even pointed out local shops and restaurants to us too. We loved it. He is a true gem and we can’t recommend enough. Thank you, Joao!

We were looking for a unique tour of Porto and Joao totally delivered on that request. We had asked him about Porto from a local’s perspective and a look at the local art scene, especially street art. We had an excellent tour meandering through hidden neighborhoods and their history; understanding the revitalization of Porto buildings; viewing Porto’s great history; and finally the unique and fresh street art of Porto. He gave us great recommendations of shops with true Portuguese products and wonderful restaurants and bakeries. He also took us to a local spot to catch the sunset. I decided to do a solo tour and I picked the absolutely best person I could to really get an inside of the city and also the knowledge and emotion of the artists histories . I felt like I got to know more about the country in our time together and then I would have any other way. I got to hear about the emotional history of the country and also see some amazing street art. JOAO is a very special person and I really appreciated the caring way that he took me around the city. I got more than I thought I would ever get out of a tour because it didn’t seem like a tour. I had been on other street art tours in other cities and had really enjoyed them so we booked a tour with Joao in Porto. He met us and after a few minutes getting to know each other he showed up the first piece of street art. Joao not only knew about the art, he knew the artists, their history and what the message they were looking to convey in the piece. Then we traveled from one art work to another including one that covered the side of a four story building and some that were only a few inches across. In each instance Joao knew the artist and their work and all of the hidden messages in each one. He was very plugged into the street art community in Porto and he provided an insight I have not experienced on other tours. We really enjoyed our time with him.Great tour with Joao
