I've been organizing and leading cooking groups for almost 30 years. I started out in Bordeaux, then moved on to Paris and Lyon, where I've been working for the last 19 years.
My husband and I are both gourmets and love to entertain with quality food. Located in the Croix Rousse district, we have a terrace with an exceptional view over the whole city. Our friends are always delighted to come to our place, which is a good sign!

A wonderful and memorable experience!Amanda_M, Oct 2024I have been traveling through France with a friend and we decided to take a cooking class while we were in Lyon. Joël was wonderful, inviting us into her home and sharing the most amazing meal with us. We could tell she really enjoys these occasions and is happy to be hospitable. It was a great opportunity to experience French culture and food a little more deeply and try something that we might not find in the average patisserie or restaurant. We highly recommend the experience.

What a fabulous day we’ve had with Joelle!!
Inviting us into her home, taking us shopping with the locals at the fresh produce market just down the street, expertly guiding us to create a fabulous meal and then sitting down together on the rooftop balcony with amazing views of Lyon to enjoy the beautiful food, it was truly a wonderful experience! Chef Joelle lead the class beautifully with excellent recipes. Her direction was light and fun. I met another couple from Australia who were great fun. We enjoyed our lunch on her rooftop terrace overlooking the city of Lyon. A wonderful memory!Rooftop Cooking Class

Exploring the market with Joelle was something we really enjoyed. She explained all of the steps well to making a full, delicious meal. She was excellent at involving everyone in the preparations. Joelle was so welcoming and we enjoyed the view and meeting her husband. Her English was very clear and we had no trouble communicating!The perfect culinary experience!

Joelle was wonderful! We had a great tour of the outdoor market and several of her favorite shops, then enjoyed preparing a delicious meal on her beautiful terrace overlooking the city of Lyon. We will never forget it- especially since we took copies of the recipes home :-)Food love In Lyon
