Jones was incredible!!! It felt like an afternoon spent with a friend and an overly stuffed belly. He asked about our dietary needs (I’m a vegetarian) and was amazing with offering up a huge selection of options. I highly recommend jones to everyone!Boom with JONES

Jones was friendly and accommodating. He is very knowledgeable of his trade as a tour guide. I enjoyed the food tasting with him and he was open to some request like taking photos and shop for souvenirs however, it wasn’t mostly the best choices of authentic local foods and wasn’t as I expected it to be. I was told that street foods are available during the night market. Out of ten tastings, I loved the Meatballs soup, Scallion pancakes and the dried nuts and fruits. FYI, Foods for tastings are included in the price. Thankful for the experience. I recommend Jones for your Food tasting adventure in Taipei. Great experience!

Jones met me as scheduled. He was most congenial and very knowledgeable. As we walked from tasting to tasting, he provided colorful descriptions of the restaurants we were to visit which included their history and fame. As we stopped at each restaurant, Jones suggested dishes I might want to try based on my preferences which I had shared with him earlier. At the end of the tour, which actually lasted a bit more than 3 hours (he didn't rush from tasing to tastng), I had experienced the 10 tastings promised, stopped and purchased some mementos for my grandchildren, and was escorted by Jones to the metro line where I boarded a train heading north to my next adventure. I highly recommend Jones to anyone who wants a great local guide with deep knowledge of the area's culture and food offerings.Great Food Exerience in Taipei with Jones

We had a most wonderful time with Jones. He was both communicative and prompt. He was receptive to accommodate our tour based upon our hotel’s location. We tried a large number and diversity of food.

Jones ist ein sehr fürsorglicher Guide! Er ging auf unsere Wünsche ein und zeigte uns Stellen in Taipeh, wo nur Einheimische waren. Jederzeit wieder, wir werden ihn weiter empfehlen!Großartig!

We had just arrived in Taipei and knew time was tight with regard to meeting Jones for our food tour - I rang him and he offered to meet us at our hotel which was such a relief. We immediately proceeded to a local establishment and sat down to eat delicious food and spent time getting to know each other. (Jones has many amusing personal stories). He then proceeded to lead us through the streets of Wanhua stopping every so often to taste a local delight. (A glorious interlude was visiting Ginger - and receiving a soothing neck massage - giving us a short rest from eating). This went on until we could eat no more and finished the night with a cup of tea. Overall the experience was very good value for money, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and great company- we were absolutely stuffed full. Thank you Jones 😋 😀So much delicious food

We do recommend to start your trip around Taiwan with “local” knowledge which was perfectly presented to us from Jones through tasting some very typical Taiwanese food and walking us among narrow streets of Taipei.Truly helpful
