Jorge educated us on not only the food of Porto but the culture, history and his own life experiences. We had great discussions and saw a lot of the city. Jorge is exceptional and very passionate about his city and gave us the flexibility to see what interested us. A great afternoon for us from Canada and our friends from the UK.A Wonderful Experience!

It is wonderful to get to know a country and a city through their food and Porto is no exception. Jorge was a very good guide, knowledgeable and informative with a lot of love for his city. The market is wonderful and the food we tasted there was amazing. Jorge pointed out the best spots and gave us good recommendations for further food experience in Porto.An excellent food journey

Jorge was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We tasted amazing food and also local wine and port. Jorge answered all our questions about Porto and was very engaging. He did not rush and spent extra time with us and showed us special restaurants as well as some suggestions while we were here. The market was amazing. We had a wonderful time on our first day in Porto with Jorge! He was knowledgeable about the city, fun & showed us wonderful sites that we wouldn't have found on our own! I highly recommend this activity to get your bearings in Porto & also to get recommendations from a local (without having to consult a guidebook/blog that may be out of date). Porto is a super walkable city, so you'll want to get a sense of where you are on the first day. Request Jorge if he is available - he was fantastic!Great first day experience in Porto!
