I spent most of my life abroad in various contries (Switzerland , Germany, United Kingdom, France and Italy). Living abroad was quite an eye opening experience for me; it has embedded me the desire to explore the world and constantly seek knowledge about different cultures and topics.

I believe Palma is a perfect cosmopolitan city, where I have the opportunity to meet different people of various backgrounds and cultures. I also enjoy sharing my culture and knowledge with others and I am always open to learn new things.

Jorge knows Palma extensively. He introduced us to yummy Mallorca tapas we would never have tried without a food guide..we loved the Mallorca tortilla and croquettes.. we now have some great restaurant recommendations and local wine to try. Thanks Jorge you helped us see Palma from a fun and different perspective. Through food and wine ohh and don’t forget the Vermouth that everyone should experience. We spent 2 hours with Jorge and he was really fantastic, not only he knew the usual stuff but introduced us to all the actraction and fine dining of the island . He left us a long list of place to be, restaurants and activities enough to spend one more month in Palma. Highly recommended.Fantastic tour

Nachdem wir in Lissabon sehr gute Erfahrungen mit Withlocals gemacht haben, sind wir bei der City Kick Start Tour sehr enttäuscht worden. Jorge ist ein netter Guide; leider überzeugte er weder mit geschichtlichen Fakten und Insider Tipps. Diese waren eine Restaurantliste der Umgebung. Einen Überblick wie geplant, konnten wir uns nicht verschaffen. Auch war die Geschwindigkeit, trotz sehr guter Fitness unsererseits für eine Stadtführung unangebracht. Es war in Summe eine unstrukturierte, hektische, wortkarge, wenig wissensvermittelnde und faktenbasierte Tour. Sehr Schade. Die Krönung: von gebuchten 1,5h wurde nur 1h absolviert. Bevor wir etwas sagen konnten war er im Handumdrehen in den Menschenmassen verschwunden und weg. Schnelles Rennen durch Palma

Jorge is a very nice gentleman. He is punctual and accommodating. Speaks good German and reveals a lot of insider knowledge about Palma. We recommend !Recommendation ! ! 😃👍🏻

We booked this tour last minute on our last night in palma and am so glad we did! It was such a treat to have Jorge to visit with us while he took us to 3 local restaurants for traditional food and drinks. Jorge was exciting to be around and just added to our last night in Palma. He shared lots of information and was just a good person to spend time with. From the first time we messaged him he was very responsive and polite. We couldn't have been happier! Perfect end to a great trip!!! Thankyou Jorge!!Perfect last night in Palma!

Jorge ist sicherlich ein cooler Typ, was Geschichte und Unterhaltung betrifft klares Minus, mussten jeden Satz erfragen teils ohne richtigen antworten, Erfahrungen mit essen und trinken waren sehr gut. Jorge war an dieses Tag nicht gut drauf…wollte uns noch für Restaurant und Bars eine Liste schicken…leider nix passiert…schadeWar nicht sein bester Tag

After reading the review from another customer the week prior, I have to agree - we only visited 6 stops too. Don’t expect 10 food and drink pairings - it’s 10 items including 2 visits to shops where you’re getting a free taster… Updated review

Firstly Jorge was great fun, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We enjoyed the experience but only realised when Jorge left we’d only spent two hours on the tour and visited only two Tapas bars and a traditional ice cream shop. Was there a confusion of which tour we were on?? I’d booked the 10 Tastings (it would be pushing it to say we had 6 and that includes each tapas, ice cream and drink) . Was not a food tour. Please explain ! Difficult to review as I think there was a mistake?? Please advise. Confused

Thanks to Jorge for this perfect one-to-one culinary tour. He chose nice bars, good food and drinks! I really enjoyed all the information and competent advice. And last but not least: I could practise my Spanish. Highly recommend him as a guide and would book again during my next stay in Palma. Private tour "Tapas y vino"
