We had the pleasure of a food tour with Julian in a recent visit to Seoul. Julian is a very knowledgable foodie and introduced us to a variety of delicious foods and vendors throughout central Seoul, while also giving us insight into this amazing city. We thoroughly enjoyed our street food tour and got to try food we would ordinarily never have found/ ordered - furthermore, Julian’s tour included so much more than food - we took in some key sights and learned some history on the way. Finally - we booked this tour as we needed to cater for specific diet requirements - which Julian navigated for us! Cannot recommend this tour enough! We signed up Withlocals for our second experience the previous was Istanbul. This evening was more expensive and less value. Our guide Julian was asked if we could start later which was fine but he failed to tell us the experience still finished at the same time, so his focus seemed to be on keeping us moving. Maybe by necessity of the sites he wanted us to see we started with a very interesting restaurant but probably should have been near the end and maybe we could have finished with a coffee or a drink as the last siteVery local food

What started out as a street food tour included so many tid bits and amazing stops that we learned so much more than just “food” in Seoul. Julian was a delight-a native who has traveled the world and is back home. In addition to showing us which food stands were the best for different “snacks”, the historical insights to the country he added provided tremendous color. In addition , when you think of street food, you think of small snacks. This was a feast! By the end of the day we couldn't eat another bite! is a highly recommended tour and if you can, take it with Julian. Street food and hidden gems-terrific day!
