Kadek was wonderful across our time together. We did his local food tour and it was an amazing experience, finding local spots and the best of the best food and produce to try around Denpasar. Across the tour he also went above and beyond with answering any questions we might have. We had plans to visit some more northern spots, and he gave us so many great suggestions and shared the best ways of getting things done. Looking at planning another longer trip with him (if time permits) and would STRONGLY recommend booking a trip with Kadek for anyone looking for a unique and fun experience.Amazing experience - will be recommending

We had initially initially booked a food tour with Kadek on our 1st day, but when we got to know his easygoing and fun personality and heard his awesome explanations, we knew we had hit jackpot. We heard his advice and applied his tips to change our vacation, and booked him everyday for the rest of our trip, and it was the best decision we could have made. He always had a solution to what we needed, always had great information, was always upbeat, and even got us discounts at shops and tours. We had the best food tour ever. If you really want to feel like a local and find out everything there is to know about Balinese cuisine, this is the tour for you. Kadek was a super host, he knows a lot not only about Indonesian food, but about other cuisines as well. We had a great chat and a good laugh. Totally recommended!Wow! Like a real local :)

We unknowingly scheduled the event on Nyepi. It did not take place and we should have been refunded our money. Since it is a national holiday where the entire city shuts down the local should have informed us and not scheduled the eventScheduled on Nyepi and did not happen

We booked a food tour with Withlocals in May 2022 when we visited Istanbul and had a fabulous time so when we booked this trip to Bali, we wanted to experience another food tour. We met Kadek on the 2nd day of our holiday and he took us to some pretty cool places where the locals eat. It was a great tour and interesting to see how some of the local delicacies were made. We'd highly recommend Kadek and the tour to anyone who hasn't visited Bali before.Great food tour

We had a great food tour with Kadek. Traditional Balinese food in an area of DenPasar where most tourist never come. I especially liked to market with the different fruits we tried and ofcourse the kolak at the end of our tour :)Awesome day with Kadek

We recently spent a week in Bali. We love trying new food when we travel and wanted to get an introduction to local food. It helps demystify a menu where food can be foreign. We booked the tour for our first night in Bali. The tour time that we booked wasn’t the usual time that Kadek does the tour and the places that he usually goes were closed. Kadek contacted us before we even got in to Bali to arrange an alternative so we could still experience great food. He also organised a driver and car from our hotel because we weren’t staying in Denpasar. Kadek was really friendly and had great English. He described what the food we tried was, how it was cooked, ingredients and why it was significant. All the food was great! Kadek’s background and experience in hospitality was evident and we really enjoyed chatting with him about food, his family and home life. Learnt a heap and thoroughly enjoyed it. A great experience for our first day in Bali. Fabulous food introduction to Bali
